"The book you read Miss Knight, Memorials of Herefordshire suggests that Jack O'Kent may be a nickname or even a kind of honorific for a cunning man figure, possibly out of folklore. His real name, if he has one, could be something else entirely.

I agree it's probably time we caught our train. We can compare notes on our journey. "

You leave the stuffy confines of the library, perhaps with more questions than answers. At least you are now free of the unsettling presence of the objectionable Lewis.

Collecting any belongings required for the journey takes a short amount of time, but with the help of the college porters you are soon leaving the confines of the school for the short trip to Eton railway station.
