IC-Ep 2-Comparing Notes(Archie/Benjamin/Eugene/John)

[Mr. Handy]

St. James's Church- London, England
7:00 AM - Sunday, September 8, 1940

Just as Benjamin and Eugene were about to leave, Archie returned to the church, followed shortly by John.

[ZadokAllen]

"Oh hello there, any news from the outside world?"

[andyw666]

Archie gives all a genial wave but then looks more attentive. "Actually, I wanted to speak to you, Eugene and anyone else who saw that poor girl last night. I've spoken to a second Luftwaffe POW who pretty much corroborated the first man's story about being attacked by an animal. What if that same animal was responsible for the girl's death?"

[Pastiche]

"That would be a scary prospect indeed...." Benjamin grows pensive. "But what kind of animal could it be? I have a hard time believing that feral dogs or escaped zoo animals would fly up and attack an airplane..."

[DrPeterson]

'A second German? Where did you meet him?'

John re-adjust his uniform and then looks around at the other men with a sly grin.

'If it's one of ours, my clearance isn't high enough to know.'

[ZadokAllen]

"If an animal like that is still on the loose we have a duty to intervene, before it makes another casualty" Eugene responds. "Now if it would only kill German soldiers that would be another matter..."

Archie shakes his head. "I don't think it's any weapon of ours, nor the Luftwaffe apparently. Some other German plan gone wrong? The Russians?"

"Whatever the case, I want to gather more information to put to Naval Intelligence. Who else saw the victim? That professor chap, did he have any insight into it? Do you know where they are now?"

Absently he adds, "Second Luftwaffe chap is in hospital, broken leg."

Archie looks about. "Anyone know where those other people from the bomb shelter last night got to? The ones who saw the dead girl."

[ZadokAllen]

"Didn't they go to the destroyed warehouse?"

[andyw666]

Archie looks interested. "Well that definitely sounds like where I should go. I wonder if you could show me the way, Eugene?

"Did any of you gentlemen discover anything else about this animal attack?"

[ZadokAllen]

OOC,I think Eugene knows London pretty good as a door-to-door salesman. Does he know where the wharehouse is?

"Nothing of note happened here. We attended the reverent's service, but that's about it. Anna seems to have slipped out mid-service, though. We don't know why or where she went"

[Mr. Handy]

OOC,[b]Eugene[/b] wouldn't necessarily know where it is, as door-to-door salesmen tend to go to residences, not warehouses, but all of you went there last night. Now that there's daylight, you can find your way back there without having to roll anything. Is there anyone who isn't going to the warehouse?

[ZadokAllen]

" Yes, I know where the warehouse is. I'll be happy to accompany you there"

Archie nods in agreeable humour. "Thank you, Old Son. Hope the old boy's sermon went well? I did mean to get back here in time to lend a hand but events and German POWs got the better of me."

[Pastiche]

"The service was thoughtfully neutral, so that it was suitable for someone observing a sister religion, like myself. Very considerate of him!"

[DrPeterson]

'well, all services aside, I'd like to see that warehouse too. Let's go.', John clearly didn't care much for the more spiritual aspect of the situation.

"Right, this way!"

Benjamin collects his coat and follows the rest of the group outside.
