Back at the Gilbert house, he pounds on the door, not bothering to get rid of his stogie. Hope the guy hasn't run out on us. I got some hard questions to ask.

"Then it is a possibility," says Kathryn. "We'll probably never know whether it's actually so or not, but if her former boyfriend thinks it's so, that might have been enough motivation."

With a curt nod, Ivy leaves the two ladies to discuss the boyfriend. After a short taxi ride to Police HQ, she marches into the filing archives and bears down on the clerk.

"Find me everything we have on the Alyssa Gilbert suicide and..." she consults her notebook, "...the Normal Gorham School."

After waiting impatiently for a few seconds, she decides to help out and take a look herself.
