Ch.15d Baton Rouge

The voice on the phone said, "I understand that you are a friend of my son, James. He has gone missing. I require your assistance in bringing him home again...”

A university student has gone missing. Can his friends find out what has happened to James Frazer in 1920s Massachusetts?

Alex nods in agreement to Ivy's remarks. Hopefully Lucius would be able to be quiet about all this--not to mention sober-- but his attitude did not inspire much in the way of confidence.

Really, he wondered what they were going to do when they found Nyatanga. The detective would like to arrest him, but he'd co-opted law enforcement before, and he could very well do so again. It may be better to focus on eliminating him. Alex was not a fan of extrajudicial executions, but he may have no choice. Much of it would depend on what they found on the ground, and their target's own attitude when they located him.

Does he mean 6:00 PM? Or will it still be dark that early in the morning?

6.00 in the morning. It’s going to take a while to get there (even after I’ve taken some liberties with geography…)

Is there anything you want to try to get before travelling, bearing in mind that it is already past closing time?

It would be good to have some binoculars. If we're here to observe, we may as well do it from a distance.

As we're going by boat, perhaps some waterproof clothing and maybe a coil of rope if possible?

Rope, yes, but waterproofs are harder to come by because of the shops being closed overnight. The same story with binoculars.
