Ch.15 (No) Southern Comfort

The voice on the phone said, "I understand that you are a friend of my son, James. He has gone missing. I require your assistance in bringing him home again...”

A university student has gone missing. Can his friends find out what has happened to James Frazer in 1920s Massachusetts?

"That is true," Alex admits concerning the age difference. "But we've experienced a lot together, Ivy. The kind of experiences that forge a bond between people. I believe we could sell the intimacy required of a couple in love."

On his end he could, at least. He did love Ms. Ripley. Perhaps not romantically, but he had never met one quite like her, and her spitfire nature and willingness to face the horrors they so routinely encountered made her one of the most compelling people he had ever met. When he thought of how close she had come to death in those tunnels he felt physically sick.In truth, he knew she was the person he cared for most in this world, and he would lay down his life for her without question.

OOC,

The game now shifts from Lovecraftien horror to overwrought romance.

The game’s certainly taken a turn I didn’t predict. Time to brush up on my Mills & Boon!
