I wonder what those five points of Cthulhu Mythos came from, in-game; I bet Lawrence had some fun little revelations on his amazing journey through time in space.

They’re from Lawrence’s first bout of insanity - it gave him an insight into the true nature of reality.

I know; I didn't mean mechanically, I just was wondering what that insight took the form of.

Bullfrog - I guess for Lawrence it’s him looking around and seeing things that aren’t there. It could have been the snake god he saw in Louisiana or the creatures from the train that he now sees in the shadows or out of the corner of the his eye. He won’t be sure what’s real and what isn’t, and will be worried that these things have been there all along but somehow he never saw them before…

Alas I’ve reached a point where I can no longer devote the time and mental energy these excellent PbP games deserve, so I’m pulling out.

Thanks very much for the thrills and spills you’ve given me over the last few years (and apologies for cross-posting the same message over the forum!)

I may lurk on and off to see how my fellow investigators are faring, but for now, keep rolling well and hold on to your sanity!

Hi all, I hope you’re still enjoying the investigation?

Assuming that you’re happy to continue with our investigations after this one wraps up, I’m at a bit quandary as what to do next. I have a vague outline of an idea (no spoilers at this stage) but I’m concerned that it’s going over similar ground as to what we’ve already covered.

Have you any preferences as to what you would like to do next? Travel to a different era or location? Back to Arkham? Please let me know.

While I'm really enjoying the game I sadly think I'll be stepping away after the current chapter. Though I hope you'll be able to continue without me!

I'm enjoying it too, and I want to keep playing. While my character wants to get back to Arkham in 1930, I'm always a sucker for more time travel.

I'd like a return to 1930s Arkham, but it would be cool if we went to Louisiana to face off against the local Yig cult after that. They're the one remaining loose end, after all.

Thanks Philulhu, major kudos for you making up these scenarios with very little prep time. it's a skill I wish I had! Are you planning next scenario as the climax, out of curiosity?

I can’t take credit for making this up, as this is a published scenario (albeit not a Call of Cthulhu one). Like most scenarios though, it does just provide the framework - all the other stuff like the dialogue, etc. is written by me.

As for what happens next, how can there be a climax? I mean you saw Brophy die! He burned to death, didn’t he? Didn’t he?
