The gory mess is almost too much for Howard to continue, but he manages to make a passable imitation of the symbol without vomiting.

Lawrence makes one last run-through of the first floor, searching for anything of note before leaving.

Lawrence took a quick turn around the rest of the rooms on the first floor while Howard completed his sketch, but there was nothing else that caught his eye.

Outside, William could see Oscar in his car, with his head pressed across the car window. It looked as if he was asleep.

Finished, Howard hurriedly leaves the room, intending to exit the house by the front door.

[Mr. Handy]

William remains out of sight, not sure who this stranger is or what he's doing here. Oscar clearly isn't going anywhere, so he can wait for the others to catch up to him.

With his task done, Lawrence heads out the front door and circles around to the back of the house.

Thomas decides to follow Howard and Lawrence out of the house, and goes with Lawrence to the back of the house.

Any attempt by William to remain out of sight at the back of the house was rendered moot by Howard, Lawrence and Thomas trooping out of the front door, in full view of the stranger. Somewhat startled by his appearance, they milled around aimlessly for a moment or two, before heading for the back door where William was waiting for them.

The stranger sat in his car, watching them.

[Mr. Handy]

"I'm not sure who that fellow is or what he's doing here," says William. "I hadn't wanted to let him know we were here, so I stayed in the back, but it's too late now, I suppose. Should we go up and talk to him?"

"Yes".

Concerned for Oscar, Howard strides towards the cars without waiting for a reply.

[DSIGFUSS]

Georgie finishes his cigarette and flicks it out the car window. It catches on the ends of his fingers and sparks from the cherry fly onto his lap. He has a moment of panic and brushes frantically at his crotch. He opens the car door and jumps out swatting at the idea that his pants are on fire. He quickly straightens himself out and returns to glaring at the house. He lights another cigarette.

William follows, keeping the shotgun pointed downward at an angle. "Good afternoon, sir," says William. "What brings you here? Do you know Oscar?"

Howard walks up to Oscar's car.

"Oscar? Are you okay?" he asks, concerned.

[Bullfrog]

Lawrence follows William, standing behind him. He remained silent, cradling his rifle in his arms and letting the lawyer do the talking.

Thomas goes with Howard to help check on Oscar.

[DSIGFUSS]

Georgie straightens himself and smiles warmly. His previous scowl disappeared almost immediately. He offers a hand to the closest man William.

George Livingstone. Pleasure to meet you!

He looks over at the other car.

Oscar? No sir... Never met the man. He OK?

[Philulhu]

Oscar stirred as he heard Lawrence and Thomas approaching his car. He blinked, yawned and looked around, before pushing the door open.

He rubbed a hand across his face before gingerly touching the wound on his scalp. ”Ah’m sorry,” he said. ”Ah think ah fell asleep.”

He looked at the car next to his and did a double take. Clearly, he had not heard the other vehicle arrive. He looked at George and said, ”Who’s this gennelman? He a friend o’ yours?”

"I don't know' says Howard, looking at Livingstone.

He addresses the newcomer.

"Can I ask what your interest is here?"
