"Aye, not a bad thought, that," says Alexander. He also turns in for a nap.

OOC,We can skip dinner and fast-forward to the nightly vigil. Please let me know where your character will be located. We seem to have lost Raiko, so I'll npc his character.

But I am fully up to date. Perhaps Melody could remain in the kitchens. While catching up, I had thought that perhaps you could send Melody alone to the village to spread gossip that you were planning to move the stone again and that she strongly disagreed, or just spread word amongst the servants? Perhaps a rumour will draw out the killers, without actually needing to disturb the stone for real? If you'd prefer me to drop out, I'll just read along. I'm really enjoying the game.

Percy elects to set up camp for the night in the schoolroom upstairs, the one with the window overlooking the graveyard.

Isolde bumps into Melody in the corridor, "I have to say, I'm at a loss at what else to do. We aren't going to move the stone but we will hopefully have a seance there tomorrow sunset. Maybe you should drop a few rumours around the village; it's a good idea."
She attempts to lock the library door and keep the key. "I'd like to keep vigil in Josephine's room, if I may." She asks at dinner. Otherwise she will just patrol the corridor outside of the room.

"Aye, a good idea, and much less dangerous than actually moving the stone," says Alexander as he too heads down the hall. "Let's make sure Her Ladyship agrees with it before we implement it."

After a tense dinner with Lady Amanda, who assents to the plan to send Melody to the village, the companions take up their positions for the night. Ursula will stay with Amanda in her room, while Isolde camps out in Ursula’s room.

As darkness draws in the storm picks up, and tonight there is a great deal of sleet as well as rain. The temperature drops and soon the house is very cold, forcing the investigators to wrap up against it. Their breath mists the night air.

The clock passes midnight, and the house is quiet, apart from the rain lashing the windows.
Everyone,Roll Listen.

OOC,Sorry, I missed the update :(
Captain FitzWilliam,Captain FitzWilliam had been studying one of the family portraits in the hall when he heard the crash. He jumped and his heart thudded in his chest as he spun around. Quickly determining the crash came from the library, he swiftly strode in that direction, his grip involuntarily tightening on his walking stick... ...
