This is the thread for out of character posts for all of chapter one (New York).

If anyone hasn't done their character development updates for the end of the prologue yet, please take a look at the last couple of pages of the old OOC thread and post your dice rolls, etc there.

The first in character thread will be up later today.

Good luck.

IC thread up at last. :)

Don't forget to read the single post interlude thread, before starting chapter one.

It summarises where everyone has been, and what Jackson was up to.

@jp1885, rather than researching which colleges offered the best opportunities to ladies in the 20s, I double checked that Columbia had a few well known female scholars during that time, and took the opportunity to pair Cynthia with Amy. Hope that's okay.

Now that we're up and running, I expect that I'll be able to post every day. :)

Sounds good! I'll keep her occupation as Researcher though as I've already changed her bio - maybe she's moonlighting :D

In addition to helping out the doc, Marcus would probably still investigate now and then, though probably more as a private eye than a Pinkerton. He buys a nice place in a middle class neighborhood and tries to live respectably. Also gives some money to his sister to support her new baby.

I'll unlock the interlude thread if anyone would like to add details there?

I added my stuff to Atauchi's character sheet. I was brief.

That's great. :)

I apologise btw, I was trying to get the threads up last night before Mr. Handy came on, as I'd already written the telegram to Amy, but I didn't have time.

I added a little to my character sheet's bio, but mostly what I posted here.

Looking forward to the next adventure!

FYI, I'm ready to go. I'm just sort of waiting for narrative to develop. The professor needs to be informed about the telegram, and in turn, he needs to inform Marcus, Anderson, and Atauchi. No rush, just letting everyone know I'm still here.

Yes, sorry for any worn out F5 keys.

Once everyone's got posting, I'm planning to get back to the system that I used for most of the prologue of one post a day that nudges the story along, other quick npc replies wherever necessary, and attempting to change scenes or significantly move the story at least once per week.

I lost my rhythm a lot since Christmas, but I've waited to be less busy before starting the New York chapter, so I'm pretty confident of getting back to the old pace again now the main story is beginning. :)

I'm excited too, though I think Amy's more excited than I am. Little does she know...

Thanks. Was unexpected, for sure. Though trying to think out how someone like Marcus would know all this is considerably tricky. Not to mention amusing.

That's what we know as unexpected character development.
