COMMS - OOC

In 1998, an underground Club and the criminal mastermind who ran it got hit by an agency that doesn´t exist. The owner of the club left US soil.
Now, 22 years later, the infamous band Charnel Dreams holds a live concert on Lexington Avenue, NYC.
Is this the return of Club Apocalypse?

Selected agents are invited to a Night at the Opera that is Club Apocalypse.

Looks at the background brief.

Now that is a big wall of text.

I can add some pictures. Plus I will make an evidence wall of it for ease of access.

Ok, picked out a pic for my friendly and created a character. Going to go with what I rolled even though it's below average. We can't all be above average. Here's my random green box generated mundane items. Now, how do I go about entering or should I wait as I'm a friendly and not part of H cell?

Green Box Contents

A broken and dismantled AAI RQ-2 Pioneer unmanned aerial vehicle.
A set of maps from the local area - road map, geographical map, tourist guide, etc. Everything you need to search the area *very* thoroughly.
A fully loaded .38 Smith&Wesson Model 36 snub-nosed revolver, with a leather belt holster.
A pair of house slippers, size "medium." If they fit, they are quite comfortable.

Oh, and my IRL name is Mark.

Great, Mark!
I thought maybe Lew could meet up with Shaw at Starbucks over a coffee? The topic of the meet is to support an intevention wich might have diplomatic backlash and have some need for people needing to leave the country quicklky and quietly. Lew has met with Shaw previously when working on an AI project regarding electronic surveillance.

I´ll bring down the tempo to let Mr. Handy, Zero, Mallet and Starspawn338 have time to post over the next few days. I´ll do my best to edit and arrange things to make the game understandable. You guys are doing great so far!
It´s this conglomeration of minds that make play by post so great.
You never know where things will go. Only how they begin.
It´s all about the bits and pieces the individual players bring to the game that matters!
Thanks for joining in!

That's a good idea Dave - getting out of synch is definitely going to happen (in a forum game) but it's not a good idea to have that happen at the beginning.

I'm going to be in a training class to, well, be a trainer for most of next week starting Monday. I apologize in advance if the momentum picks up after the rest show up and I'm not quick on the uptake.

Thanks for slowing things down. I've now finished catching up on all the posts. The picture you found for me looks good, so I'll just use that. I'm trying to locate my old character sheet from The Dreaming Man, but I haven't found it yet.

Here are my Green Box items:
  • Three Princeton Tec EOS headlamps.
  • A paperback book: " Violent Politics: A History of Insurgency, Terrorism, and Guerrilla War, from the American Revolution to Iraq".
  • Smith & Wesson Model 1076 10 mm Auto (10x25 mm) semi-automatic pistol with two 9-round, two 11-round, one and 15-round clips plus 50 hollow point rounds. Slide marked with "Caution - Capable of Firing With Magazine Removed". Two punched dots under the de-cocker lever.

Hi guys!
The premise to run a game during the vacation, when the vacation has other plans - is a bad idea, it seems.
So, no dice and no 100% engagement from me besides the set-up phase, it seems. So instead of stringing you along for a few weeks and then return to work and have no time to host the game seems rude.

I guess the thought of hosting a game was better than actually hosting it.

It was nice to see how many people were up for a game.

Hopefully you can be busy in other games.

Cheers from the bbq!
