OOC,You can have another shot with a revolver Rooter. And we should count it as point-blank range. Same goes for Harry.

Helena also readied her revolver. Taking aim, and marking the shot.

Reg & Helena,The window breaks in a shower of glass and the jackal-masked figure begins to climb through. At the same time, the pounding on the door continues. It is solidly built, but it will give way very soon. [ooc]The investigators can open fire, at point-blank range, if they wish. Please specify the caliber of your guns.[/ooc]

OOC:   .32 Revolver (1D8, 14 metres, 3 attacks per round, 6 bullets, HP 10), with 18 additional rounds of bullets inside her handbag.
Helena fired her gun at the figure closest to her with the intent to kill. She aimed the gun at the assailant's head and pulled the trigger three times. All of them missed.

Handgun,Harry takes a shot at point blank with a base skill of 80% doubled and rolls... [dice]0[/dice]
OOC:   Not elegant, but a hit nonetheless. And, no, that's not a malfunction for a revolver.
Harry's eyes narrow. "Fool!" He grunts. His arm snaps out dead straight and he fires off a cannon-loud shot with the big Webley .455 service revolver.
OOC:   Roll for damage? PS. These dice hate me.

HelplessBystander,You can’t roll for damage until you’ve rolled for Firearms. You need to roll d100 3 times and match it with your character’s skill. As you're specifying a particular body part, please roll at -20 your usual skill. But you get the bonus for shooting point blank! If you hit, roll again for damage.
Harry & Preston,Harry’s shot catches Faez square in the chest and he collapses to the ground, barely alive. [ooc]Faez HP 13: Firearms damage: 1d10+2 12[/ooc] The younger man who was behind the larger man now attacking Preston has drawn his own weapon. He aims at Harry and fires three times. [ooc]2nd Thug Revolver 30: Revolver: 1d100 43 Revolver: 1d100 33 Revolver: 1d100 11[/ooc] The first two shots go wild but the third hits Harry in the chest. He falls down next to Faez, his face contorted in agony. [ooc].38 revolver 1d10: Firearms damage: 1d10 6 Harry is down to 4HP - he'll need to roll CONx5 or fall unconscious.[/ooc] Meanwhile, Preston’s hammer falls on a dud. The thug with his huge knife is almost upon him, and Preston is down to his last bullet. [ooc]Did you reload since that afternoon? You’re entitled to one more shot so go ahead. Make it count![/ooc]
