Maria

The thought of being able to act breaks Maria out of her paralysis, and she takes the amulet in her other hand.

"What now?" she asks.

"When one is chosen, the key hole will reveal itself," they say as they fade from view.

Behind you a great rush of wind swirls around you, spinning the world upside down. You find yourself facing Daoloth.
The lines that make him up, you find yourself looking not at him, but the spaces between him. There you can see the secrets of the universe, all is revealed to you.

Joe screams out, while the professor, begins the pronounce loudly as he begins to walk towards Daoloth, "The knowledge, the incredible knowledge"

OOC:   If you do lose more than 5 points, don't forget to take an INT check. There was no need for the professor, he dropped way too much.

“Professor, please do kindly remember that you’re the one who dragged us all into this. We don’t care whether you want what happens next or not. You can’t play victim when you’re the guy behind all of this. I thought you wanted to transcend to this realm. Go accept your fate.” Tobias said.

OOC:   Sorry, I got confused as Joe only rolled 1d10. I've amended my post above - Maria is properly done for too.

OOC:   Yes its 1d10 if you pass, and 1d100 if you fail. You gain Cthulhu Mythos on a 1 for 1 point you suffer here. If you passed your Int check, or if your mind is shattered, you start walking towards Daoloth. I think we are just waiting on Helpless to make his check.

Joe and Tobias are free to act, everyone else is heading toward Daoloth.

Tobias attempted to tackle Bret to the ground and screamed "Watch out!" towards Eddie, Maria, and Dr. Porter. He motioned towards Joey to do something whilst he tried all he could to save his friends.

OOC:   Do he need to pass a STR roll in order to save Bret and the others?

Joe runs up and grabs Maria, "She has the key."

He takes drags her back to a pillar, where a key hole appears. It looks like the key would fit into it.

OOC:   No, they are walking forward, but not fighting you if you drag one of them back.

Tobias held Bret to the ground whilst he looked at Eddie and Dr. Porter, who was walking towards the chasm, with dread. "I don't suppose there's anyone else willing to help Eddie?"

Joe grabs Maria's hand and shoves the key into the hole, the pillar begins to shimmer. "Come grab my hand," Joe yells out. "Eddie's gone."

OOC:   Bret only has temporary insanity - could he take an action yet?

OOC:   Unfortunately, all you want to do right now is go hug Daoloth. Only Tobias is keeping you from that. This will last [dice]0[/dice] rounds

Tobias grabbed Bret and held onto Joe's hand. Hoping like hell that they'll get out of this alive, sane, and intact.

As Tobias grabs a hold of Joe's hand, more mysteries of the universe reveal and wash over you, as Daoloth encompasses the world around you...

Things black out. When you awake you are in the swamp in the clearing where you left. The sun was shining.
Any temporary insanity is gone.

Tobias, Bret, Joe and Maria are in field. The professor, Eddie and Doctor didn't make it back.
