You guys can post your characters here. I'm going to post the rules for making 6th edition characters here as well.

Attributes
Since you guys are playing characters who are taking work as mercenaries I figure the minimum you can have for an attribute is 8.

Strength (STR): Roll 3 six-sided dice and add them together to determine the value for STR.

Constitution (CON): Roll 3 six-sided dice and add them together to determine the value for CON.

Dexterity (DEX): Roll 3 six-sided dice and add them together to determine the value for DEX.

Size (SIZ): Roll 2 six-sided dice, add them together and add 6 to that total to determine the value for SIZ.

Intelligence (INT): Roll 2 six-sided dice, add them together and add 6 to that total to determine the value for INT.

Power (POW): Roll 3 six-sided dice and add them together to determine the value for POW.

Appearance (APP): Roll 3 six-sided dice and add them together to determine the value for APP.

Education (EDU): Roll 3 six-sided dice, add them together and add 3 to the total to determine the value for EDU.

Idea is simply your INT score multiplied by 5.

Knowledge is your EDU score multiplied by 5.

Luck is your POW score multiplied by 5.

Add your STR and SIZ and consult the Damage Bonus Table to find your damage bonus.

Magic Points are equal to your POW.

Hit Points are figured by adding SIZ and CON together, then dividing the total by two and rounding up.

Sanity (SAN) begins at a level equal to your POW score multiplied by 5.

Next, pick an Occupation for your characters and then choose 8 skills that are your "occupation skills". If you'd like some examples from the book let me know. Multiply your EDU score by 15 to get the number of points to spread amongst your Occupation Skills (no skill can go over 80). Then do your hobby skills; to determine how many points you have to spend on them, multiply your INT score by 10 (you can put the hobby points into your occupations skills as well).

Here's the full list of skills for the Hyborian Age, If its easier only post the skills that you are putting points into when making your characters. In addition to allotting points as per usual, please give yourself Other Language (Nemedian) at 30%. This will allow your characters to have a conversation in the language and understand what your employers say to you; although you will have a heavy and notable accent and have to make a check to speak the language under duress. You can put points in that skill as well to improve your language comprehension.

The people leading the expedition will supply you with food and traveling supplies, but your weapons and armor and stuff you'll have to buy on your own. I'm thinking giving you guys 1,210 money units, I'm using that because I can't think of the name of Hyborian currency(ies) at the moment (if you can help me out Wruter) to buy all of your starting equipment. I figure that will let you guys buy some good stuff for yourselves without being way too much cash.

The currency is just referred to as copper, silver and gold coins, with 100 copper = 1 silver, and 100 silver = 1 gold. Those prices look about right for copper coins.

Thanks we'll use that bronze/silver/gold system going forward, but for buying stuff during character creation we'll stick with what I've already posted just because those are the prices from the book.

Background,Anakunaisi was a brave Turanian nomad. His life changed when one day he and his warband raided a Stygian caravan, which turned out to be that of the sorcerer Amon-Ghesed. The sorcerer summoned undead abominations and killed every single nomad, but for Anakunaisi he had a different plan. He subdued the proud warrior with evil spells and made him his court jester. He was the thrall of a sorcerer for 13 years, but now the sorcerer is dead. Anakunaisi secretly yearns to be a sorcerer himself... but doesn't really know how. He works as a sell-sword, travels around, hoping to find "a source of magic", or some eldritch tome. He is a "barbarian", uneducated, but strong and cunning, although his willpower and sanity was damaged throughout his long years of slavery.
