Sheriff Williams attempts to roll out from underneath the Amante, but is trapped beneath it.
The Amante tries to bite into Sheriff William's arm, but he pulls away in time.
The Amante that was attacking Rosa rushes away toward the back doors.

Gavric activates the sonic weapon and directs it at the fleeing creature, hoping to disorient it enough to finish it off.

Rising up on one knee, Rosa raises her rifle and fires a burst into the fleeing creature's back. She reasons that it's more important not to let it escape, and that the Sheriff can fend for himself for now.

The fleeing Amante is badly injured but its thick hide has kept it alive. It opens the back door and is met by one of the cops left to guard outside, who fires his pistol.
But the creature is still alive, and scrambling for the trees. The door is still open for now but will swing shut in a moment.

The second creature abandons his attack on the Sheriff and comes after Gavric. It comes at him mouth open, and attempts to rip a chunk of flesh out of his torso with its sharp teeth.

Gavric collapses to the floor, screaming in agony.

OOC,Gavric is down to 4 HP then - as he lost over half he is stunned and can't react.

Taking the opportunity while it presents itself, Rosa fires one last burst through the open door at the fleeing creature before it can escape. She'll worry about the other one later, but she cannot allow this thing to get away.

The fleeing Amante falls to the ground, dead, its blood turning the snow yellow. The cop lets out a cheer.

Sheriff Williams pulls himself up off the ground and fires his pistol at the creature by Gavric.
The creature slams its fist into the concrete next to Gavric's head.

With her first target dead, Rosa whirls and spews a rain of death into the other creature from the barrel of her assault rifle.

Gavric remains on the floor, groaning in pain.

The Amante jerks with each round that passes through its body, before falling dead on top of Gavric.

Sheriif Williams lets out a sort of nervous laugh, immensely relieved to be alive.

"Help me with him," Rosa says to the sheriff as she tries to pry the dead beast off of Gavric so she can treat his wound.

The Sheriff helps you move the creature off Gavric in time for screams to reach your ears, and a single shot to ring out through the air, followed by several screams in the distance. It may be coming from the buses.

Without hesitation, Rosa runs for the buses, gripping her rifle.

Groaning in pain, Gavric picks up his pistol and the sonic weapon, struggles to his feet and heads out after the others.
