Actually, should I roll every time I need to make a phone call? I can edit my last post accordingly. And make the call to Zeppo instead if it speeds things up. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself!

You do need to roll to make calls but you have the radios for short-range communication, just be mindful someone could be listening on those.

Okay. It's probably best then to use phones first, and then radios second. We can select a frequency that others (e.g. police) aren't using.

Sweet Jeebus I cannot roll low to save my life... possibly literally.

Sarah has paranoia, and also needs to make a San check to avoid an acute episode.

If the two numbers match the hit is a crit right? Because Mike rolled I think a 22 for one of his successes earlier so the damage should be doubled.

That's right, I'd forgotten. I did get a 22 in the first round, so that is a critical. Is the damage result of the one die doubled, or do I roll it a second time?

Also, the creature got an 11 in the first round attacking me, so I'm probably dead at this point. I had planned to run back to the truck with Sarah and then run it over, but she'd already attacked in round two before I had a chance, and I couldn't leave her there. Let me know if I can still act this round, and if I can, I'll do that.

Roll a second time. The creature will also [dice]0[/dice] add that to damage

Mr. Handy you are alive for now but you can make a sheet for Deputy Eli Filagree if you want, he is in Agent Scott's storyline and can be brought into Delta Green

Well, that was rotten luck. I hadn't expected to go down at the outset. Even if Mike survives, he probably won't be in any condition to continue, so I'd better create the Deputy. I'll probably have time tomorrow. If I do die, it'll be my first character death since I came here ten years ago, and I've played in a lot of games since then. If I die, at least I died protecting Sarah.

Additional damage:
[dice]0[/dice]

The monster rolled max damage a few times. I'm sorry about Mike, but at least we could see a first here on Lover in the Ice

Bad luck Mr. H! But Fillagree should be a good addition. He's seen enough weirdness so far to warrant being brought fully into the real situation.

I guess JustinHorner isn't joining us, but it's probably too late to realistically introduce his character.

Is there anything I should know about him before I create the character, such as the weirdness he's seen?

Why didn't Brian get to act until now?

The murder victim Scott was investigating turns out to have been killed by the Mills worm (although that's only just become apparent). Fillagree attended the autopsy and heard about the strange findings (the fluid capable of changing DNA). He's presently at the morgue guarding the corpse. So he knows that something strange is going on.

Scott was at the Green Box site, he found out about the contents and where the worm came from.

Brian was in a separate plotline, and since combat takes so little time it wouldn't really have been right for him to be able to drive all the way across town in the small amount of time combat really takes. Everyone should read the notes in Scott's section, I'll post them here.

Only one box remains.
Hundreds of yellow legal pads contain failed drafts of Escaping Altimira, an unpublished novel by one-off 1960s literary star Ryan Whitehead. The paper is smeared with moisture. Sifting through the decades of drafts eventually leads to Whitehead’s initial Amazon notes (Handout B) and his eventual suicide note (Handout A). There is also an ammo box with Portuguese lettering on the side; reveals it to be Brazilian from the 1960s. The metal has been bent and crushed from the inside, where thousands of tiny scratch marks can be seen.
Here’s a summary of what can be learned from studying
the handout:
»»An unnatural thing cut from the mouth of Albert
Capchka was what escaped from GB 224.
»»The thing is from a tropical climate.
»» Sex and violence are dangerous temptations often
confused by those affected.
»»The thing in the ammo box is somehow connected
to a hooting sound in the trees.
»»Whitehead was driven to a life of reclusive madness
by the events in the Amazon.

link to hand outs: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzMCw ... FdsS3ZzZ2M you will need to probably download the file to see all the pages, I can try a different format if you want there should be 6 pages
