Footsteps sounded on the stairs as the heavy object was moved again, and they walked past the entrance to the creatures' room, though the beasts themselves blocked anyone from view. It sounded like there were three people. "Nobody will find you down here," [b]Akana[/b] said. "[b]Scaevola[/b] may have been blinded by his infatuation for you, but I saw through you. Did you really think you could supplant me?"

Story/Brook Davies,The footsteps proceeded past the doorway leading to the creatures' room. "I can't think of one reason I'd wish to supplant you, whoever you are.
