"We'll have to go to the Cooper House after the crash site," says Gracie. "I mean back there. We must have been there last night. Something must have happened there." She wolfs down the rest of her French toast and washes it down with the remaining coffee.

Todd Guzman,Looking in the van for something to play the audio tapes you found revealed that all recording equipment is missing (Camera and Sound). However you are quite resourceful and after a short while of mixing and matching parts you manage to put together a functioning audio device capable of accessing the tapes. Through earphone you are able to hear the following, The voice of the host you do not recognise, but its female. [ooc]I will copy this file to the handout section[/ooc]

"I agree with Gracie. Sounds like our best plan. Something really weird must have happened to us at Cooper House. Weirder than shrooms, I mean."

The waitress appears carrying a fresh pot of coffee and refills everyone’s cup, she sniffs, “That place again? When y’all were in here yesterday you were on about that place, said something about interviewing the chief. By the way where’s the other woman, the one with all the red hair, seemed like she was the boss or something?”.

"Well folks, I'm presuming we're professionals, so that means the show must go on."

Karl looks Gracie and Todd. "I agree, let's head to the crash site in the Mystery Machine and take it from there. Maybe backtrack & see some of the people we supposedly saw yesterday. Do you think the Bakers who refused an interview were the same ones we saw last night? If so, why didn't they mention it?"

"I'd rather wait til it's dark before we visit the Cooper House, ha ha", he jokes feebly.

"I say we go buy some spider repellent, and catch up on those scheduled interviews we didn't end up doing."

"Lyn didn't come back last night," Gracie tells the waitress. "We're going to go catch up with her." She turns to the others. "Why don't we try giving her a call? I don't remember her number, but it's got to be saved on one of our phones."

Simon checks his phone. Maybe he has Lyn's phone number... He also gets the feeling, that he doesn't want to be the one to make the call.

"From the list of interviews it looks like this 'chief' the waitress mentioned is Chief Donald Mathews at the police station. Maybe if we can't get through to Lyn on the phone we could find out if she's been reported missing or something."

Simon checks his cell phone there is a Lyn Cartwright in its call list. However after ringing for a few seconds the call is diverted to voice mail. The phone is ringing but there is no answer...

"Good idea," says Gracie. "We can also ask at the front desk before we leave to see if she's come back, but I wouldn't bet on it."

"If we're going to go to the cops, we need to get our story straight. I don't think they'll buy the whole group amnesia thing."

"I wonder what we told that police chief exactly. Maybe he'll buy our story if it checks out with what we previously told him. Also, I'll bring him donuts just in case."

Time is running it has been at least thirty minutes since you entered the diner and the odd customer is beginning to drift in. They all look at you in an odd manner, as if in recognition...
OOC:   When you are ready to move on tell me where. At the moment it looks like the police station, if so I'll start a new thread

"Maybe we should refrain from talking to the cops until we know what we're talking about," says Gracie. "I think we should try to find her ourselves first."

"Okay, so the plan is we go back to the site of the accident to see if we can find any trace of Lyn, then either Cooper House or the police station." Todd checks the map on his phone to see if Cooper House is anywhere near where the accident occurred.
OOC:   Priest, the image of the map posted at the beginning isn't showing up anymore.

OOC:   No there is no Cooper House shown on the map. Sorry Wruter I've been moving things about on photobucket so the picture was gone, I've restored it and I will put it up on the handouts.

"Let's look up where the Cooper House actually is before we go," says Gracie. "We should be able to find it on the Internet."
