Oliver looks around the corner to see Stogie rushing down the hall and throwing open doors. There's nothing he can do at this point but cover him.

Amadeus hoped that no monsters is going to leap out.

Tom follows Stogie down the corridor, peering in each room, in case Stogie misses anything.

It's again one empty room after another. These seemed to be room for officers, providing some more comfort for their inhabitants than the common barracks Stogie and the others discovered earlier. There's also a room with a couple of tables and a little kitchen, probably an officers' mess.

With all the doors along the corridor open, only the steel one at the end remains closed. You then begin to hear a tapping sound coming from the ceiling above you, in the middle of the corridor. "What the hell...?", murmurs Dowson-Frost, raising his weapon. But there's only this tapping, answering back. It slowly moves along the corridor, towards where Stogie is.

""Zhis may be a good time to duck, Stogie." Amadeus quipped, shoving Stogie lightly, hoping he get the hint.

"Stay clear of the vents!" calls Oliver, looking up to see where they are.

Stogie starts running back to where the others are!

"Ah, crap..."

Smalls Kemp

Smalls points his machine gun to the ceiling while looking for vents in corridor and adjacent rooms. "Close all the doors! Stogie, retreat!""

As soon as you start making noise and screaming, the tapping turns into a loud slamming, and then outright banging. There are metal plates on the ceiling, and they start to shake and shudder. In a matter of seconds, the rivets holding them together start giving away, as the ceiling itself deforms and seems about to cave in.

Amadeus readies his gun and prepared for battle...by running as far back as logically possible in this situation.

Tom hastens back to the others, machine gun ready, thinking the panzerfaust might not be such a good idea in an enclosed space.

"Get ready everyone! We've got incoming!"

Stogie makes a mad dash back towards the others and out from underneath whatever is above him.

Oliver backpedals, gripping his pistol in both hands and taking aim at where the ceiling plates are beginning to give.

Amadeus took aim.

Stogie runs towards the others, while everyone get their weapons ready. The banging goes on for a few more seconds, then it stops. Suddenly. Only the thumping of your heartbeats remains in your ears. The ceiling remains deformed, but nothing is clashing against it anymore. Silence falls again.

Amadeus fumbles, placing the gun back into the holster. Nervously, he peered up.

"Keep it quiet from now on," hisses Oliver.

"Sure." Amadeus said, his voice barely higher than a whisper.

Stogie shrugs. Frowning, he starts creeping back down the corridor towards the porthole, watching the ceiling with great interest...

Stogie gets to the door and looks through the porthole. On the other side, there appears to be a mess hall for the troops. It looks empty. There are two more doors you can see, simple wooden doors, one on the wall right opposite to this entrance, and the other one on your left. Unfortunately, there is also an air vent, on the far corner from your position, near one of the two doors.
