"I think ve should go and found ze power room first unt then use ze control switch to manipulate ze locks to make sure vhatever iz hunting us don't get here." Amadeus suggested.

"Can that even be done from there?" asks Oliver. "I'd thought the doors had to be opened and closed manually."

Amadeus shrugged. "Eh, I'm no architect, but I'm pretty sure zat overcloclomg ze capacitors in ze power room and combin zat vith stray viring equals explosions. Ze debris vill cork too. Vhat says you?"

Stogie shoves open the first wooden door on the left, clutching his panzerfaust.

Amadeus shrugged, before making his way behind Stogie. He readied his gun and prepared to fire in case there’s any unexpected incidents.

"Carefull now, boys." He says with his machine gun on ready, rapidly looking for any vents inside the room.

Tom Major

Tom follows, keeping an eye out for anything behind them.

The room you've just entered in is almost completely empty, with only a few empty lockers as furniture, lined along one wall. There's an air vent, on the ceiling, in one corner, but at the moment there doesn't seem to be anything strange, or threatening, coming out of it. There is evidence of a large fire having been set in the centre of the room.

"We don't want the power out completely," Oliver says to Amadeus, "and we need to be able to open and close the blast doors at will." He peers into the room, pistol in hand. "Perhaps the monster, like Frankenstein's monster, doesn't like fire. I don't think there's anything else in there. Let's check the next one."

Amadeus looked at Oliver, "Sure. I'm only saying zat ve tamper vith a few of ze virings unt try to block of ze monsters. Personally, I don't feel safe in zis blasted place."

"They can crawl through the vents," says Oliver. "The blast doors are about as effective a defense against them as the Maginot Line was for France.'

"Scheiße! Vell, let's try unt get some air vents blocked or something. Ve vill not be safe unless ve prepare." Amadeus said, his mood fluctuating slightly.

Stogie is not too interested in exploring burnt offering mysteries at this time. He exits the first room and quickly shoves open the next wooden door...

Another empty, abandoned room. This one looked to be a room for the medical staff of the base, with a couple of desks, an examination bed and a few empty cabinets. Anything of value or interest seem to have been taken away.

"I have to say, zhese Nazis sure do clean up real good." Amadeus said, chuckling a bit at his own jokes.

"Wish they hadn't forgotten to take their bloody monsters with them," comments Oliver. "Right, nothing here. Let's keep moving. We should see what's round the corner before we open the blast door."

"Aye. Would be fantastic if zhese Nazis remembered to take zheir shit with them." Amadeus muttered, agreeing that caution would be key.

Stogie hefts the panzerfaust and moves quickly up to the right hand bend, peering cautiously around it.

The corridor on the right is, as expected, empty. There are six more wooden doors to be seen, three on each side. At the end of the corridor, there's another steel door, operated with a wheel. There's a small circular porthole on this door, although from this far it doesn't really allow you to peek inside.

Stogie decides to go with the fast and furious approach, relying on his comrades to get him out of trouble if need be. He charges down the corridor, opening each door, left then right, left then right. With each room, he has a quick look in then moves on.
