Eddie could see that the rubble was fairly stable near what had been the entrance to the warehouse and began to dig with the help of his pike where he had seen the body the night before.
It did not take Eddie long to uncover the dead woman's body, and he was barely sweating by the time he found her. She had been crushed by the rubble, but he was still able to recognize her. A handbag was slung over her shoulder, flattened but not broken. The damage to her body made it difficult to tell how she had been killed, but if he had not seen her here when the building had been intact, he might have assumed she was killed by it falling upon her after the bomb hit.
OOC,Seamus, please roll Sanity for seeing the body. Sanity loss is 1/1D4+1. If you lose 5 Sanity, please roll Idea. If you succeed at the Idea roll, you will go temporarily insane. Otherwise, you are free to act. All of the other PCs have already seen the body and do not need to roll.
Seamus drops to one knee as he battles his inner demons. It takes all his strength to accept what has happened without screaming out. A solitary tear rolls down his cheek.
oops,I forgot a comma for the spoiler buttons. sorry
Seamus remained still while others carried on, he didn't realise that he was babbling to himself. "Oh Nell, you had half a brain about you, what made you think you could bed ya'self a drag'n? We ain't safe, not none of us. If it can take you... You knew how to keep safe, even 'mongst us tough barnacles, you kept yourself all pretty, all... all. I wonder why it didn't eat that German, mmm, can't blame it I guess, never did like German food me'self..."
OOC,Tinker needs to roll too. I'd forgotten that she was here, as her player hasn't been around for weeks. I'll roll for her.
Tinker's Sanity roll (current level 62) for seeing the body:
