Lucius found a shadowy alleyway which had a good view of the front of Servilia's house, and he and Elizabeth ducked into it. Nobody was likely to spot them there, and anyone who noticed them would probably just assume they were lovers. They watched the house, and after about half an hour, the front gate opened. Cicero was the first to leave, his servant following close on his heels. The household slave shut the gate behind them, and the two of them started off down the street. It was now nearly sunset.

Lucius raised his eyebrows and wishpered to Elisabeth: "Look, it's Cicero. Do you think we should follow him? He could be be very important part of plot. Yeah, I think we should try our luck with him."

"I'm not so sure he was part of the conspiracy against Caesar," whispers Elizabeth back. "But I might be wrong. It's a long time since I read anything about the assassination. But if you think it would be worth following him, I'm happy to do that. It's always possible he might lead us to the Brotherhood."

Lucius nods in reverie. "Ok then, let's do it". Trying to keep reasonable distance, Lucius starts following Cicero an his slave.

Lucius followed Cicero and his slave stealthily, with Elizabeth hanging back and following him so that she'd be less likely to be noticed, as she wouldn't actually be close enough to their quarry to alert them - nor within their range of vision. Cicero and his servant seemed none the wiser to their new shadow.

Elizabeth Young,Elizabeth couldn't put her finger on it, but there was something highly suspicious about the way Cicero was acting. He seemed to be in a hurry to get to wherever he was going.

"Look, Cicero is too much of a hurry. May be he is delaying for another meeting. We should not lost him, I hope he hasn't notice us," said Lucius quietly to Elisabeth. He continue to follow Cicero, trying to keep in shadows.

"I agree!" whispers Elizabeth back quietly. She follows Lucius as discreetly but efficiently as she can, trying not to let herself be noticed.

Lucius and Elizabeth discreetly followed Cicero and his servant through the streets to another house, where they went inside. It was still expensive, but not quite as luxurious as Servilia's house, which they had just left.

Lucius Verres,Lucius did know this house. It belonged to the Tullius family, which was also Cicero's family name. He didn't know for certain whose house it was in this time, but it had likely stayed in the family. There was a good chance that it was either Cicero's own house or that of a relative.

"I know this neighborhood, and this house - it belongs to Cicero' family." Said Lucius quietly, pointing to the house, wich Cicero has entered.
"It's possible, that he just lives here. But, something may be happening inside right now. I don't think it would be appropriate for us just to show up at threshold. So, I see only one way: I could try to sneak around, and spy a little." Lucius rub his head. "You stay here, in case I got in trouble or something. If Cicero or someone suspicious will leave house, whistle aloud. You can whistle, right?"
After saying all this to Elisabeth, Lucius approached the house, keeping the most innocent and unsuspicious guise he was able, but the same time he was thoroughly inspecting the house and environs for possibilities to sneak inside, or at least to look or listen through window.

"Yes I can whistle," says Elizabeth quietly, grinning. "Good luck!" She looks around for somewhere discreet to wait, while meanwhile keeping an eye on the house.

While Elizabeth looked for a place to wait, Lucius approached the house, which was surrounded by a ten foot high stone wall. A quick walk around the wall showed that it was unbroken except for the front gate through which Cicero had entered. The house did have an upper story that was visible beyond the wall with windows, but there was no light in them, and it was now getting dark outside. At least that would be beneficial for stealth.

Elizabeth found a partially concealed alcove nearby and slipped into it, then started to wait.

Lucius couldn't find any decent handholds or footholds, as the stone wall was very smooth. He tried for a little while, but he kept slipping down.
OOC,Elizabeth, please roll Luck. Lucius, this is 6th edition, so there is no pushing. However, how I'm handling this is similar to that rule. You may try to roll Climb again, but further attempts will take more time and may have more consequences for failure. If you do roll Climb again, please roll Sneak as well to see how much noise you make doing so.
