Maybe a long shot in this forum, but just in case. (And the Atlas Games forum has been down for more than a week )-:

We have started playing a bootstrap story, but players joining within the next 2-3 weeks will be in time for an equal vote when the covenant is designed.

I would have been interested if this had been a play-by-post. I played Ars Magica back in 2000 and enjoyed it. Thursday evenings in Europe translates to Thursday during the day in the eastern USA, and I'm working then, unfortunately. I wish you luck, though.
