That Which Should Not Be

Greetings Brothers,
Before I discovered YSDCs PbP site here, I started a 1920s campaign on old-school PbP site Unseen Servant. Several investigations - grisly murders, a possible cult, theft of various artifacts, and a startling archeological expedition - have woven together into a disturbing reality that should not be. The campaign has reached an inflection point, as character deaths are mourned and minds struggle to comprehend the horrors unfolding. Progress has been made, small victories celebrated, yet the realization of what should not be and how to stop it remains.
The campaign is inspired by Alan Moore. There are a few openings and I wanted to invite the fine players here to join. The post rate is every other day, sometimes more. Character profession choice is flexible. There are several ready-made NPCs if one would like to jump right in:
- A BOI (predating FBI) agent;
- An Irish gangster unbalanced by terrible revelations;
- A female explorer;
- A private investigator.
