Fungal Zombies - Short and simple one-shot

Post by Laraqua »

Thinking of running a rather simple sort of game with a few people on a bus encountering the bizarre and needing to put an end to it. The kinda throw-away adventure a person usually plays across a span of two to three hours (in board terms, PROBABLY, under a month of play if everyone posts a lot, two months if they don't - unless y'all decide to roleplay a lot). Sorta like a dungeon crawl for CoC with a plot. Limited size area, limited cast. Set in the modern times with everyone aboard a bus - to begin with. Just gonna toss it out there...

Let's set it aboard the Premier Stateliner going from Adelaide to Renmark in South Australia.

Is this one of the "in transit" mini-adventures you're working on, and are these the zombies from Ash? It sounds interesting, and the length is about right. I'm not sure if I'll have time, though. A lot depends on when this is run and how fast the posting is. I'll have a lot of time during the first two weeks of September, but after that I won't have much. In the meantime, put me down for a maybe.

I'd be interested in playing, though I'm still a newbie to CoC.

It'll run in September most likely or just a bit before and yeah, this is one of them in-transit things. No, these aren't the zombies from Ash. 8) If you run out of time before the game ends, we can just have you zombified if you like!

Since this'll start in late August or early September, I should have time to play as long as the posting doesn't get too frenetic. I don't think zombifiying my character will be necessary; this is a quick scenario and it shouldn't be a problem for me to stick with it. Count me in.

Count me in too....a flash in the pan is always fun for a quick completion...or a zombified pc to wreak havoc on the rest is a good easy out as well....HA HA HA

Lionel was always such a tease. How could he refuse to be impregnated with her parasitic young while wearing THOSE clothes?

Wow, on a higher resolution monitor I can actually see some eyes in that shadow! I always just thought it was pitch. Just goes to show that higher resolution monitors are best!

Sure, you can play. This is a pretty easy-going adventure (though quite violent) and I'm an easy-going Keeper. The game thread is down in the Modern Era category. Mosey on down and join us on the Chit-Chat.

Works for me. Do up a character sheet and I'll put you on a stop waiting for the bus shortly before za Zombies!
