Terror Australis

Australia's still a new country, even if it's built on some of the world's oldest land - even Melbourne, until last year the capital, while Canberra was being built, has just that air of being unfinished. In a place like that, there's always crime, whether it's between the newcomers and the fellas who think they've been here a long time - always room for one more detective to make a living.

Year 1928.

I'm looking for 3-4 Investigators of the type who would engage in amateur or private detection. The plan is a mix of ongoing threads and discrete cases - crimes the conventional police are ill equipped to deal with.

I intend to use the 7th Edition rules, with a few changes, mostly to character creation.

I tend to be a “the Mythos is the only mythos” type when it comes to Call of Cthulhu, so while I like the Alcheringa material, I should probably say up front it won't be a part of this game (at least in a supernatural sense).

I guess no one else is signing up for this one. Some of the opposition would be a bit much for two, but I can try to tone it down, or we can stick with Berlin and Harlem. It's up to you.

I'm okay either way. Three games is a bit much for one person to run simultaneously. I know, because I did it myself ten years ago, and one of those games was Zombie Apocalypse, which is about 3-4 times the size and complexity of a normal game. If you're up for running it, I'm still up for playing it. Or we could keep waiting to see if anyone new signs up for it. It's only been twelve days so far.

I would wait for longer. But as Mr. Handy says, it's a lot of games to run, and you might find that two is more than enough to keep you busy.
