BREAK TODAY!

Having some time to spend, I started to read up on Unknown Armies [RPG] and thought that I still like the ideas. I´m not too keen on the world stretching mechanics about how everything is tied together, I just want to be in for the ride! The ride of anything goes and it´s a really strange world around us.

So, in that vein, I´m about to post a gallery of player characters and set a scene.

You are free to join in by picking a character and we´ll set out on a crazy journey.

My initial idea was to run the scenario Jailbreak, where we all meet up at a farm in the vicinity of a medium security penitentiary. Let´s stick with that.
The backdrop to the farm scenario will be tied to a certain Scottish fast food chain, that can´t be mentioned.


We have three types of participants of this spectacle:

1. The jailbreakers and their mastermind who helps them from the outside.
2. The guards on their heels.
3. The owner of the farm and his acquaintances.

There might be ties between the groups as this is a game with no black and white, but rather an explosion of coulours. All blurred into a mess of grey silhouettes.

Welcome to a game where we´ll stick to Call of Cthulhu game mechanics and tweak it a bit on the Sanity department and swap out the mythos for human evil.

Do I have some orders to go?

So, I´m using a published scenario but will change a number of things in it. While in the green room, have you picked a side without knowing the parts of the play?

Guards, prioners, hostages or farm owners...?

If you care to wait to pick sides, I´ll work on the stage area over the next couple of days and will be publishing the cast then.

I played in an Unknown Armies game here before, Bill in Three Persons, which unfortunately didn't get really far before it was abandoned.

I will not let you behind the curtain of truth as it is strictly for the dark clergy who are the conductors for the Ley Lines of Earth.
But don´t worry, if it seems like the end of the world as we know it: ....it will be alright.

Aine thumbs through a few catalogues. What to choose? Perhaps one of the team organising the jailbreak from the outside. Either that or a really smart cop who specialises in foiling jailbreaks. Whichever fits your plans best.
