Ghastly Affair: The Dark Shadows Edition (Two Games)

I'm just beginning to daydream about adapting the Ghastly Affair system (see below) . . .

. . . into the Dark Shadows universe. (The main reason is that I am currently binge watching the complete original series.)

This would result in two games. One would begin in 1795, the other (using the Groovy Ghastly Affair version of the game) would begin in 1967.

No knowledge of Ghastly Affair or Dark Shadows would be needed. In fact, the less you know about Dark Shadows, the better.

These games would use characters from the series, with characteristics generated by me and not revealed to other players, at least not at first. The plot would not follow the series religiously. (Barnabas Collins might not be a vampire at all!) In keeping with the feeling of the series, players would have their own agendas, not always revealed to others; private messages to and from the Keeper would be plentiful. So would private messages between players.

Emphasis would be on roleplaying and storytelling, without much in the way of combat and such. True to the soap opera format, I would expect lots of conversation.

This would not begin for quite a while yet, so I'll wait to see if anybody is interested.
