I'm looking to see if there is any interest in a game set in Robert E. Howard's setting of Hyboria. The players would be mercenaries hired by a Nemedian nobleman to journey into the untamed "Border Kingdom" and help him recover treasures from his ancestral home. For system we'll be using Cthulhu Dark Ages.

Hi Cotton, I'm a fan of Howard's work and would certainly be interested in playing.

I haven't actually read any of Howard's work as far as I can remember, but I have played in his world before and would be happy to do so again.

I've read a fair share of Conan stories (from the recent "Complete Chronicles of Conan" collection), and I like dark fantasy, so count me in!

I don't have Cthulhu Dark Ages, but as far as I know the rules are the same, just with a few modifications to the skill list and so on?

Just saying, I'd also be interested in a Solomon Kane themed game!

Id certainly be interested in joining, as well, if you need more players. Ive always wanted to check out Cthulhu Dark Ages

I'd be interested, I haven't played Dark Ages but I'm up for it.

Alright seems like people are up for this kind of game . I believe that Cthulhu Dark Ages is basically the same as 6th edition Call of Cthulhu, but it'll be my first time GMing with Dark Ages so it'll be a learning experience for us all I suppose. Since this is set in a world that is not our own I'm going to make a couple posts with some background and system information to help you guys make your characters.

Great! I'll set up the forum for the game. I'll put it in the Other Eras and Settings section, as while it uses the Dark Ages rules, it is set in ancient Hyboria. All I need is a short blurb describing the game, like you'll see for other games on the home page. I'll use the first line in your initial post for now, but if you want something else, I can always change it later. You can find the forum here.
