Tatters of the King Campaign Interest?

I am thinking about running the new Tatters of the King campaign as a Play by Post game.

I would be using CoC d20 rules to run the game.

Anyone interested?

I'd be game to try me hand at d20 CoC, however I have no d20 books nor experience outside of AD&D which was mostly 1st and second Ed. What era does Taters take place in, or does it span multiple eras? I've as of yet been reluctant to read anything about it so as not to spoil potential gaming.

I remeber the website saying at one point (or possibly a press release from Chaoisum) that the game will take soemwhere from 18 to 24 sessions to play (can anyone back that up or correct me...).

So wow are you in for the long haul on this one... But it could be really cool...

Also I thought that Chaosium had given up on the D20 rules set... Did they include D20 conversions in TOTK?

The campaign is set in the classic era (1920's)

I plan on converting it to d20 myself.

Just as an aside, it has been my experience that with PBP the rules set really don't matter, it is more the role playing with occasional rolls that only the Keeper needs to understand. Anyone else have any comments on their experience with this issue?

I have found it to be a sign of a well run game that the rules do fade into the background.

I'd be interested. Never done d20, but there's a first time for everything.

Well that's three. I just need at least one more.

I will gladly help people build d20 characters. It's pretty easy.

There is this d20 CoC character generation application from this Yog-Sothoth Forum Thread, would this be an acceptable means of making characters for your game, and what d20 rules do you use ffor generating stats?

When I played Paladium and d20 games we would always roll 4d6 and drop the lowest, and then place the rolls where we wanted. Some people do 5d6 drop the lowest two, and I think I've heard of some just doing 'point bought' stats. What method do you generaly use? And also what level do you want us to start at usual in d20 games I've played (recently) the pcs have started between 1-4 Level. Just wondering.

I'm interested. Have read the D20 rules for Cthulhu. Don't like them, but I'd interested anyway.

I'm interested. I've played the d20 version of Cthulhu & I enjoyed it.

I'd definitely be interested if there is still a call for it.
