Masks of Nyarlathotep (6th Edition)

Yes I must be crazy from a fail sanity check but I want to run Masks of Nyarlathotep and I want to Complete it!

At last the stars are almost right!

Soon Nyarlathotep's plans will come to fruition. Then the world will be changed irrevocably — but not quite yet. Pesky human investigators have learned much. Now they must survive long enough to make sense of what they know, and take resolute action.

Masks of Nyarlathotep is a Lovecraftian exercise in horror and mystery. This Call of Cthulhu roleplaying classic is a series of linked adventures forming one long and unforgettable campaign. Horrifying deeds and dangerous sorcery dog those who dare attempt to unravel the fate of the Carlyle Expedition

I would like to know if there is any interest in playing in the epic campaign. Please be ready to sign in for the long haul as this is a looooooooooooooooooong game.

I am not sure on what system that I will use. I have CoC 5th edition, 7th edition, and Trail of Cthulhu. I think we will go with 6th Edition CoC. I have run this game several years ago as a face to face game but didn't get past London. (it was a player problem that kept us from going on)

As I told you via private message, I'm ready to jump in. I was waiting for someone to start a new game. The length is not a problem and I tend to stick with projects through the end. Obviously I cannot 100% guarantee anything since I think we're talking about years here, but I'm motivated :D

I already know Trail of Cthulhu obviously. I have never played Call of Cthulhu unfortunately, but I can get a copy of the game if we set on the system.

Anyway, count me in ;)

Would really enjoy playing in this Overlord, and above is the 7th edition WWI vet, his WWI persona is currently bleeding on a battle field in Verdun in a game that has been on hold for a long bit, but think he could be a fun addition to your game.

But I'm a player too, the keeper would be Quatermass ;)

I'm definitely interested, as I said in my PM. Of the editions you mentioned, I prefer 5th edition, as it's very close to 6th. That one is the one I'm used to using and my favorite. Plus, my character Amy Lawrence was created in 6th edition and should need no conversion to play in 5th. That said, I'd play this regardless of which edition of CoC or ToC it uses.

I checked on Drivethrurpg.com and confirmed that I can get a copy of the 7th edition rulebook if need be, but they don't seem to sell 5th edition. If someone know a digital store where I can get a copy it's all fine, otherwise if the choice falls on 5th edition I'll probably have to pass. I've checked on Amazon but it's costly and I would also have to add expedition fees to get it to Italy where I live.

Great! I like 6th edition even better! If anyone wants to get a copy of it, it's still in print, so it should be fairly easy to obtain, even in other countries. It's also available in PDF. 7th edition isn't in print yet, though it has been released on PDF.

Ok, I can get a copy of the 6th. Once everything it's confirmed I'll buy it and start preparing a character ;)

Since we have enough players, I took the liberty of creating a forum here and making Quatermass the Keeper.
