Assault on Precinct 9

Post by Dave Syrinx »

My idea is to run a game of a "siege" with different factions on two forums. One faction will be on PLAY@YSDC and the other will be over at Comunidad Umbria.

Hong Kong central police - Under Siege

Factions:

1: Street gang (riot) 300 peeps

2. Police officers at a station due to shut down. Retirement cop, rookie, clerks and a couple of thugs in holding cells. 6 peeps.

3. Imprisoned mob boss. 1 peep

4.DEA or SWAT. 20 peeps.

5. Mob gang 40 peeps.

6. Gang of bank robbers / thieves on a robbing spree. 6 peeps.

If you were to join which two factions would you want to play? To keep the game going, I´d suggest multiple player characters.

This is in preparation phase right now and I would like to have some feedback if the community would like to have this for a test run?

Questions?

I'd be up for this. I'd prefer to play for the defending faction.
Doctor Who/CoC Campaign:

(viewforum.php?f=191)]The Ninth Planet
The Shadow Over Dunwich
The Brotherhood of Death

The Masque of Nyarlathotep

Great, that would fit you at the police station. You have a couple of archetypes to choose from. You may come up with a concept on your own. I´ll make the backdrop story when I have all the characters needed.
So what this becomes depends on what characters that apply.

Should there be a shortage in applications, I can run the opposing faction as Keeper. But I rather not. I´ll have a stab at a moderator kind of management.

If you were to pick a second character, that should be from the bank robbers as they will be drawn into this by chance. Oops spoiler.

During the set up of this game I would need a forum to post floor plans etc.
As you posted first, I´ll assign PLAY@YSDC as the defending faction forum.

As the game will close in on a launch time, probably in two months (Some legwork is needed to put this together) there is no hurry to create characters.

Name of the forum:
"The Siege - Assault on precinct 9"
Descriptive text:
"A Police station in the process of being moth balled is the center of attention when Los Angeles closes the books on yet another year. Happy new year!"

"Accepting new players"

The forum is set up. I placed it under Modern Games. I do have some character ideas, but I may wait a little before making my characters.
