OK - I'll send this out. This is a call for people who want to be in a modern CoC game. This is one of my own devising. I have pre-gen'd characters or you can make your own with some restrictions (and my approval).

Post here if your interested. I would expect at least one post every 2 days (weekends not included).

I agree. I too would like to see these characters. Also, what do we want to use? CoC Now? Delta Green? Secrets of Japan? Speak up!

It would be the equivalent of a CoC Now.

Ok, cool. Am still waiting for my CoC Now books (The Stars Are Right, Bermuda Triangle) to arrive in the mail, so I'm not sure what new is involved. Can you PM those sheets to me?

Actually, anyone who wants to play PM me your email address. There is no way to send files in PM here.

Some more information for everyone.

I am planning on running a modern day scenario I created called 'Castaway Island'. It is available on the missionary site and on rpgarchive.com, so if you want to play please don't read the scenario.

It is a one-shot game and really doesn't require any CoC experience. I created the scenario to help teach people how to play.

Once again, PM me with your email if you are interested.

Awesome!

Begging your pardon, but can I have a link to this "missionary" site?

C'mon all! I only need a minimum of 1 more player and can take up to 3 more! To entice you all here's the description of the game:

Castaway Island

Congratulations! You've been selected to be on POX's latest reality show! Live it up on a sunny south Pacific island and compete to win 1 million dollars. What could go wrong?

If there's room I'd LOVE to play. I'd like to design my own character and submit for approval if that's okay.

Here's a copy of my post in another thread:

Participant's Name: Walt "Walthulhu" Batycki
Position Preferred: Investigator

Experience w/ CoC: I haven't played in 10 years but used to be the keeper in a few campaigns. I ran two Gen Con Cthulhu events in the 80's. I have never played as an investigator.

Experience w/ PBP: I have never played by mail or email.

Era Preferred: 1920's is my favorite. I am willing to play a modern campaign though.

System Preferred: Classic Chaosium Cthulhu. I'm not into the D20 jazz.

Willing to be Keeper: Time permiting. I have a very busy schedule and being a good keeper involves lots of preparation.

I've been reading Lovecraft for over twenty years and played COC for about ten as well as other RPG's. I have alwats been a keeper/game master and enjoye dthat a lot, but think it would be too time consuming right now. I would be willing to possibly run an adventure or two in the future if I had time to prepare something original.

I look forward to gaming with you!

Thanks for all the replies. We seem to have enough players now and they know who they are. If for some reason we lose some players, I will pick from the people who sent me their information.
