Sorry I've been away for a couple of days - had a death in the family that needed my attention. In fairness I haven't been able to think about this at the moment, but will pick it up over the weekend if that's alright with everyone.

I am very sorry to hear that Cearlan. Of course take care of yourself and your family first and foremost, this is just a game.

I may drop the starting threads a little later today, but I'll hold yours until you are ready and able, rest assured I'll be able to get your character in at any point later or even get you in right as people are getting together depending on speed.

I had free time today between reading and seeing as many of you seemed eager to start I did a little work on the game. First posts are up for those who are ready. These are basic intro posts. I hope you all have fun with this game.

My condolences, Cearlan.

Are we allowed to read each other's threads, or only our own?

I asked the same question in a private message. The Keeper would prefer we read and post in only our own.

(What the Keeper wrote for mine is really good, so I hope all will be able to read it when it becomes locked.)

On second thought, I don't care, read away. That way more people can enjoy what I wrote (or didnt in some cases). Just don't use ooc knowledge and don't assume everyone has read each other's threads. So if someone asks whats going on, explain in character don't go "i tell him whats going on. Ooc: read x thread"

I just read Lucky Lizzie's intro, good stuff! The fez on the Turk's lap--what did she see that "overwhelmed her with nausea" when she snatched it away?...

maelstrom, that tower reminded me of D&D, does David's journal recount another RPG you've played?

Hey Tabs, well the tower was very loosely based on something from the Secrets of Morocco book and the nomads from a picture I found online. But the seed was from our own chief Crack head himself :D .

Expect updates for everyone tomorrow, I didn't want to rush things out. I'm very nearly a week ahead on all of my school obligations.

Good to have you back. After I clear your character I will post up a thread for you asap. Only about half of the players have finished up their intro threads so you haven't missed anything. Also if you wish you may read other players' threads, just refrain from commenting in them.
