The salon car is where you can get a drink, listen to some music and chat on the Orient Express. Use this thread for game chat and out of character discussions.

So we are creating 2 characters, one for Gaslight and one for Classic?

Just Gaslight for now since we aren't going to bounce back and forth. This is a prequel to the classic era campaign so continuity in characters is possible.

I'll roll up my character tonight, that's several hours from now. Mrs. Sylvia Warner, independent wife, author, age 30.

@Mr. Handy, I liked the bit about Churchill.

Thanks! I had noticed they were the same age, so it occurred to me that they could have attended school together.

I fixed the picture in my character sheet, which hadn't been showing up before.

Many thanks to our illustrious Keeper for taking the trouble to set up my character in the standard format in the Dramatis Personae thread. I realize that this must have taken a great deal of tedious work, so I appreciate it.

Ha, thanks, it was a quick google search for "victorian man in a hat". But I think it's perfect for Bernard :)

Just a heads up to everyone, I'd like to start the game Monday the 19th or Monday the 26th at latest if someone else joins up before then.

Now would be a good time to ask if there are any questions or information you need/wanted, otherwise we'll deal with things as they crop up in-game.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

I'm glad you're all excited. Character creation is wrapping up so I'll see if I can't get the beginning threads out early.
