Tyner takes a swing at Ellis and connects with a good one. "Sorry about that, friend, but it's for your own good."

Tyner's punch catches Ellis completely by surprise. He reels but is caught by Craig, and Tyner quickly administers the sedative. Ellis struggles at first but after a few minutes the drugs take effect. As you are preparing yo carry Ellis out, there is a stirring in the darkness. Craig realizes that The Shape is moving; the other three see the vast. monstrous thing for the first time.
OOC:   Tyner: make a SAN check as you see a thing vast as a hill with hints of its bulk that seem to overlap with what can be seen with itself and fade into nothingness along impossible curves and angles. (The SAN loss is 1/1D10)

"Quick, let's get him out of here!" hisses Craig, helping to carry the unconscious Ellis.

Tyner freezes, once again terrified by the way reality doesn't make sense any more. Far away he can vaguely sense someone talking to him, but all he can think about is the vortex of madness drawing him into its infinite spiral of horror.

OOC:   Sorry, realized I had a typo while writing the SAN loss for you Tyner. Since you failed I will roll a D10, and thats your how much SAN you lose.
[dice]0[/dice]
Since that is more than five points of SAN it is a temporary insanity which in this case will manifest as you freezing up (to reflect your roleplaying). Both Price and Rahimi also failed and rolled over five for the SAN loss.
As the Shape moves and awakens, Price sprints off into the darkness back the way you came. Both Tyner and Rahimi freeze up staring at the vast thing. Craig, you find yourself the only one holding the unconscious Ellis as the things many eyes open.

OOC,Don't they have to make an Idea roll if they lose 5 or more Sanity? They should only go temporarily insane if they succeed at the Idea roll. Or is it different with the new Delta Green rules?

OOC:   I'm using the player's handbook for rules because the core rules book is not out yet, but it looks like that has been dropped from the new DG edition. Instead, temporary insanities result in the character either fighting, running away, or freezing up. When a character hits their breaking point they develop a disorder, and there is not a idea check for that either.

As quietly as he can, Craig tries to drag Ellis away from the creature and towards the exit.

As Criag begins to drag Ellis out the chamber and Tyner and Rahimi stare on in awe and horror, thirteen glistening eyes open and The Shape "speaks". Flashlights flicker and die and the NVGs short out as a psychic wave of alien thought emanates from The Shape.
OOC:   Make a SAN roll. This is enough to wake Tyner and Rahimi out of their catatonic states.

OOC:   That's the San los for the "psychic shout". Tyner since you've hit your breaking point you gain claustrophobia as a disorder, this won't kick in immediately because the idea of the disorders is that your character develops them after they return home from the DG operation. Also you can add 4 to your unnatural skill.
Craig:
You manage to keep calm enough to block out the majority of the hideous alien thought invading your mind and continue to manage to drag Ellis to the entrance way of the chamber. Looking down you see that Ellis, while still unconscious, has begun to froth at the mouth and his limbs are spasm slightly.

Tyner:
You head is flooded with alien visions that inform you of the ancientness of this creature and the fact that it exists not only in the reality you perceive but others as well. As this happens you are tackled to the ground. Rahami now straddles you're chest, he has a crazed look upon his face and he is attempting to close his hands around your throat.

"Something's wrong with Ellis!" calls Craig, unaware of what's happening behind him and trying to do what he can for Ellis. "He could use some help here, Doc!"

Tyner tries to shout for help as the translator's fingers wrap around his throat. He struggles to fight him off.

Tyner:
You strike out and hit Rahimi hard across the face. His grip loosens as he reel and you shove him off of you. You stand up and can see the spasming Ellis.
OOC:   Also please roll 1D4 for damage.

Tyner's throat burns with pain where the mad translator attacked him. He tries to ignore the pain and go see if he can help Ellis, keeping an eye on Rahimi to see if he attacks again. Too much going on at once.

Rahimi appears to have entered some sort of fugue state, he lies on his back staring at the two of you as Tyner attempts to help the spasming Ellis. As this is happening the entire chamber begins to shake as The Shape lurches forward onto off of its platform. You're mind is filled with images of predator animals tearing apart prey as it psychically shouts it hunger. You both realize that it is time to leave.
OOC:   The question is do you attempt to bring Ellis and/or Rahimi with you?

No time to think. Tyner tries to grab Ellis by force and drag him out. It's up to Craig to do what he can for Rahimi. "I'm taking Ellis. Let's go!"
