Unable to wait any longer, Amy goes up to the door to Room 410 and raps lightly on it.

Seconds pass by, then a minute, but no one answers Amy's knock.

"Jackson, it's me, Amy!" she calls, trying the doorknob to see if it is locked.

After some time, Jordan finally arrives on the fourth floor. He makes for Jackson's room and observes as Amy tries the door in vain.

"Come on, Jackson, you big slouch! Lift your carcass off the bed and come open up for your lovely lady friend!", he bellows, dispelling any romantic thought Amy might have cherished on her way up.

"Is he even moving around in there?" James listens a bit closer to the room.

The door is locked.

James cannot hear any sounds from inside the room, and still nobody opens the door despite Amy and Jordan's shouts.

Amy listens carefully at the door. If there's any noise inside, her keen hearing is sure to detect it.

Maybe he went to grab something he needed before arriving to the coffee pot?
Clark says before he departs and walks down the corridor, trying to spot someone from the cleaning staff.

"I'm not sure about that. These fancy hotels keep tabs on their residents and I don't think the receptionist would have waved us all up if Jackson wasn't in there. Clark, see if you can't grab a key from one of those cleaners, I'd hate to have to go all the way back down to reception, or break the door down here."

Tremayne enjoyed the lovely artwork but on the fourth floor the current nagging problem reared its head again. Tremayne looked about for such a thing as a hall phone.

"I think, chaps, we need the management here to unlock the door. Jackson had lights on in his room but he isn't answering. Maybe he's ill? Can anyone see a telephone or bell? Otherwise, I'll pop back down to the front desk and bring someone back."

"You don't think he has drink too much last night and he is now sleeping, do you?"- says Anderson.

Luck: 1d100 93

Clark returns after a while. "No luck, I can't find the cleaning staff, maybe we can try to force the door open"

The rooms of the Hotel Chelsea are very well soundproofed, but listening carefully with her ear to the door Amy hears something unexpected, that much is clear to everyone.
For Amy Only,From inside the room Amy can hear the faint sounds of movement, and drawers and cupboards being opened and closed. She can also hear frantic speech, but the language is most certainly not English!

Amy's heart nearly stops. She backs away from the door, covering her mouth with a hand. "I think you'd better break down the door, and fast," she whispers. "There are people in there rummaging through the place, and they're speaking some foreign language." Please, God, let Jackson be all right, she thinks, her eyes welling up with tears. Maybe he wasn't there...maybe he went out and we missed him on our way up...maybe whoever's in there waited for him to leave before searching his room...maybe...
OOC,Can I roll Know to try to identify which language it was?

Tremayne heard Amy's whisper and was a tad relieved to have an excuse not to have to go back down those four flights of stairs. Right, no time like the present, he thought.

"Mind yourself Amy," he yelled as he ran past her, fedora in hand. Tremayne then charged the door and threw his lanky frame shoulder first at it, rugby style.
OOC,Can Tremayne make a STR test or similar to bust the door?

"To the back, Amy and maybe cover your ears." James draws his M1911 and holds it at the ready for when the door breaks open. "Make sure you clear the door." He warns.

Amy nods, moving down the hall and pressing herself against the wall, clapping her hands over her ears. Please, God, let Jackson be all right, she thinks. Please...

Jordan stands back to let the men assault the door.

Clark stands nearby, nervous by the unexpected situation, he holds his briefcase tightly, shifting his gaze from the others to the door.
