I'm definitely adding a little post in the next hour or two.

Sorry if anyone's waiting for me, I've been online lots and have read every post, but been a little too busy at home and work to post for the last few days.

I think work will be a little quieter from now until my Christmas break, so I should be at full speed next week.

The murders have been poorly reported so far, mainly due to institutional racism within the press and the NYPD and the seeming connection to gangsters in Harlem.

I'll allow any of you to make rolls against 50% of your know score to remember a few details from news reports.

Clark can make a normal value know roll, as can James.

Does anyone watch / read The Expanse? Nice to see Jordan taking the "James Holden approach" to investigation. :)

Since you mention your publisher, and since it's been sooooo long since we played the prologue I'll just take the opportunity to remind you about Jackson's (and Jordan and Gerald's) publisher Jonah Kensington.

He's the only person more likely than Amy to have been contacted by Jackson while he was away. Gerald knows Kensington better than he knew Elias (and Irene has met Jonah, but didn't even know Elias - she probably doesn't know that he's Elias' publisher / editor though).

No more reminders from me after this I promise. I'll try to get a timeline posted though, before the adventure moves too far along.

Oops, it seems that poor Gerald can barely remember his own name at the moment.

Remember the Cant!

That being said, I think Holden's probably less of a narcissist than Jordan is. :)

I've watched The Expanse, but it's been a while since I've seen it and I don't remember it too well.

Amy's Know roll (75 / 2 = 37.5% stat):

Have you guys read the books? I hear they're awesome but kind of put a dampener on your enjoyment of the series.

I have. Also, I'm actually running the prologue at this moment...or not. My group ghosted for about half a month now. No one's talking about it, leaving me in an awkward position on wether or not I should just retcon everything and play board games instead.

I haven't read the books. I do play plenty of board games as well. There's actually a board game based on The Expanse, though I haven't played it yet.

It's made by Wizzkids though, and in my book that's a bad thing.
