I mean, could I volunteer to help a bit? It seems like a campaign of this size isn't exactly easy to manage with only one GM. I think I could attempt to lighten your workload in the bookkeeping aspect if you're interested. :?

Thanks for the offer, but no I'll honestly be fine.

I am still hoping that you'll get the chance to play.

Okay then I've messaged the rest of the players (emailed Job) and should be able to post tonight or tomorrow.

Although I've not posted on here every day, it's mostly been because there's little to write until the game resumes, but I'm satisfied that I've spent time on the forum every day for the last week - and I was on here regjlarly the week before I posted as well.

So I'm as confident as possible that I'm able to post regularly again.

Time will tell.

I'm determined to make these forums a part of my daily routine again though, so hopefully if I'm going to be absent again I'll at least be polite enough to post in the absence thread - which should prevent me from vanishing for a lengthy period.

At the moment I feel that if I didn't have this campaign to return to, then I'd want to start a game on here anyway which is a good sign I think. :)

Oops, almost forgot - Sanity checks for Clark, Jordan, DL and James when they see Jackson's body. Loss is 0/1d3 - Great War experience will reduce this to 0/1.

Sanity checks for Gerald and Irene for encountering the shot assassin (0/1 loss)

Sanity check for Tremayne and Anderson (0/1 loss) for the hacked man in front of them, and also because they know the guy on the bed upstairs is probably Jackson, even though they didn't have time to look - and there was a lot of blood.

That's fine Andy.

I'll wait another 24 hours to post again, and then I'll try to reply to everyone who has posted. After that I'll try to post at least once per day.

We'll see how we are for active players next week.

@HelplessBystander

Would you like to stand in for an absent player until a decent time to swap investigators?

You could take over DL from Job for now, as he's the least likely to resume posting, but you could stand in for anyone who's missing for now. So if Job returns and Cearlan doesn't then you could run Irene for example. Not quite an assistant Keeper, but that would be very helpful for keeping things moving. :)

It's not a massive spoiler now to reveal that Jackson Elias will have a funeral in a few days, which would be a good time to swap an absent player's investigator for a new one of your own. There will be other opportunities both before and after that event.

Thanks for everyone who's returned so far. :)

I'll be able to make an IC reply for everyone later today. I'll include actions for all the investigators who's players haven't returned yet.

I should be okay to post daily after that.

Hooray!

Let's take it nice and smooth.
I'm sure it's not really necessary to micromanage the torchbearers, that way none of us will get overstretched ;)
