"Maybe it's not too late then!" says
Kate.
"If we hurry, we can still save her!"

Jonathan nods:
"Let's go, Miss Lacey".

"Alright, but I suggest we head to the front of the train at the outset. We have someone with a gun, right? We need to be able to use that. Strike hard,
strike fast, and pull back to here." Artemis said rather matter of fact. "How many shots do we have?"

"Okay, let's go," says
Kate.
"I don't think any of us has a gun. Mr. Durant did, but I've no idea where he's gone."

"He's probably dead too," Charlie says callously, "Just like all of you will be if you go back on that train."

"There's a chain closing the door to the baggage car. I left it a little open, so if we have the right tool, we can break it open from outside and enter from there".

"Any chance, Miss Kate you saw a tool box back in the Station Master's office?" Artemis asked hoping that maybe there was a tool that could be grabbed before they headed back to the train.

"No, but I'll do you one better," says
Kate.
"Mr. Hagan and I found a pair of bolt cutters in the shed. They'd be perfect! We used them to cut the chains blocking the main entrance. Do you still have them?"

Charlie looks at each of them incredulously in turn as they speak.

"Alright then, one option is to dash out to the shed, grab the cutters, and then come back to that locomotive. We can go back through the baggage car and work our way back up front. He twitched as he said that. Is there any other options? [/b]

"They're not in the shed any more," says
Kate.
"We used them to break the chains on the front door. But yes, entering via the baggage car is our best chance. Mr. Hagan, where did you last see the bolt cutters?"

"I had them in my hands when," he groans in realisation, "They're on the train, I dropped them so I could bolt the door."

"Then we'll just have to do it the hard way," says
Kate.

"Really, don't think there has been anything resembling an easy way, Miss Kate," Artemis said with asarcastic grin. "Let's get going then."

Jonathan shrugs as he prepares himself for their second run to the train:
"Can't get much worse than it already is, right?"

"Don't say that, you'll jinx us," says

Artemis followed after Ms. Kate. He had warmed a bit, and also felt that there was purpose.
