If there would become an empty spot, I would be VERY interesting in joining. I have no idea what character I'd play though. Perhaps a young graduate student from Miskatonic University, accompanying some of the professors...

Hi Henrik, you're welcome to submit a character

Although I have a list of ten players, I've only got seven submitted chacracters at the moment, and as I've said in the first post, it's not first-come first-served anyway.

If I end up with eleven players, I'll probably let them all in anyway, it I get more then I'll have to limit it.

Neither of the two submitted professors are from MU: Joseph Eidowsky is from Boston University; Charles Graves is from Kings College, Cambridge.

There are NPCs from Miskatonic University isn't it? I have also played with the thought of playing a Swedish or Norwegian polar scientist. I'll let you know as soon as possible.

Henrik, sorry for taking a little while to reply, I realise that you've PM'ed me, and won't necessarily be having a MU academic any more, but I'll answer your question anyway.

One of the expedition leaders Prof. William Moore, is from Miskatonic University, and his expedition has the support of the university trustees.

However the expedition itself is entirely privately funded, and owes no allegence to any University, Government, or Corporation. None of the expeditions other scientific experts are from MU.

Having said that, anybody who would like to use either a professor, or a graduate student from Miskatonic is welcome to do so. And one of the NPCs is a graduate student who has joined the expedition alone, rather than as an assistant to a professor.

I guess that the "companion pack" to this campaign Miskatonic University Antarctic Expedition Kit causes confusion with it's name.

Announcement

Having looked again at all of the NPCs characters in the campaign, I have decided to allow 110 points to be spend on attributes, rather than 100 points as originally stated.

This is to balance the player characters with the standard of the NPC's.

Sorry for only doing this after most of you have already made an initial submission, but I figured that since you're getting something extra you'll be happy.

I'll send everybody a PM with this announcement, to make sure you all get it.

As I now have 10 character submissions, plus another 2 I'm waiting for, i have decided to end the recruitment early.

If anyone is still lurking and wishes to play - please contact me within the next 24 hours

For those 12 players who have already expressed an interest in playing, you still have until the 22nd to make your final character submission.

I will probably accept all 10-12 characters
