"You may go, with our fondest wishes for your success," said Queen Cleopatra. "You are welcome to return at any time you have something to report, but see that you tell us what you have discovered no later than tonight."

As the group left the throne room, it reentered the antechamber where Adelphus stood waiting.

"Germanicus was heading to the Theater of Pompey," Artemis spoke Caelia as the walked back into the antechamber. "We should probably start there and see if we could find him, or his um..uh...manservant.

"That sounds like a plan. Why, what's the matter with his manservant?" Caelia takes her leave of the rest of the group, looks at the hooded Adelphus and then heads towards the exit with Artemis and Spurius.

"Well, he is very disfigured, and Germanicus treats him poorly," Artemis explained to Caelia as they continued their walk across the antechamber. "He was very helpful with what I was asking the Senator for, so he may be a better source of information than Germanicus, if we cannot talk to the Senator."

"Servants are often an excellent source of information - alas often only to other servants. I may do better with the master, but we shall see when we get there. Let's hurry along as we haven't much time." Caelia Alba precedes the two men, Artemis and Spurius, out of the palace gate; she nods her thanks to the guard and continues towards the theatre and baths.

Story looks at the companions assuring them along as he proceeds to follow Caelia towards the theatre and baths.

"I've got some ideas Story, based on what we know," says Elizabeth, "but I thought we should wait until leaving the palace before discussing them."

Story nods at Elizabeth and says in a lowered voice, "Probably for the best."

Artemis followed as he tried to understand all of the events of the day and hoped that he didn't get separated from the party he now found himself with.

Brook follows Story and Elisabeth, moving up beside them. She mutters softly, for their ears only:"If Caesar is saved, won't that seriously mess with history as we know it?"

The group made its way out of the palace and through the grounds to the palace gates. Everyone then descended the Palatine Hill back to the Forum Romanum, and from there to the Theater of Pompey.
