First Time Call of Cthulhu Player

I've played a lot of other RPGs (D&D, Pathfinder, Mutants and Masterminds, Cyberpunk 2020, Vampire the Masquerade, etc.) but my group doesn't have any interest in something like Call of Cthulhu. I, on the other hand, love games of personal horror. I'm looking for a game set in the 1920s - 1930s that would be new player friendly. I've got the Sixth Edition rules, but I can get an older (or newer) rule set if needs be. In any case, games or no, hello to you all. I look forward to some excellent play-by-post RPing.
