looking for game - familiar with CoC, but not online play

Hi everybody.

I'm an ex-Call Of Cthulhu player intrigued by what I've found here, and I would like to participate in a game. I have no experience of playing online RPGs. The last time I played CoC was about 12 years ago.

If anyone has a space in a game that would be fantastic.

Also - do I need a set of the rules to do this? I may still have my CoC rulebook in a box somewhere, but am not sure. It would be the late '80s edition if so.

Thanks in advance.

Zombie Apocalypse still has room left for new players, and there are still some available characters that were added at the start of Chapter 3, so you can join in without having to do too much catching up. There will be even more new characters added when Chapter 4 begins, but that's months away. All the characters are pregenerated, so you don't need to worry about character creation. The old rules should still be good enough, as not too many things have changed. I'm using the 6th edition rules, but even without the rulebook you can still play. Several of our players don't have any rulebook at all, and neither did I until a couple months ago. The Rules and Guidelines thread in our forum summarizes some important rules that are useful in the game.

New York baby has a couple of pregenerated characters ready to go and is pretty rules light. its in the pulp section of the forum if you want to check it out.

Thank you very much both of you. I'll take a look at your games.
