OOC Chat

A decade ago, a band of occult investigators battled against the summoning of an ancient and monstrous evil. They failed. Now you must piece together the puzzle and finish what they could not. The stakes are high, and so is the price to pay. Can you do it?

Once again, welcome aboard :D

Just wanted to say that Eternal Lies is a very long campaign and I've estimated something like 3-4 years to complete everything. Obviously, many things may happen in such a long time, and as a matter of fact we have already changed two players. If anything happens along the way and you need to pull out, just let me know and I'll handle it.

Apart from that, you can check The Diary to catch up with what's going on (and/or give an eye to the IC topics). When in doubt with anything regarding the system, ask me or check the Game Mechanics topic.

That's all I think. Hope you have fun playing the game :)

Thanks!
I'll do some background reading during the weekend.

Baby-steps here, ruleswise, I'm reading through the letters right now. Fascinating!

Cheers!

I hope RhinoRat resurfaces quickly. I'll wait another day, then have Camerun post as NPC, it's just a few words regarding the code in the notebook after all. Don't want to block the game on that for too long.

I might have found a replacement player for Cameron, but in the meanwhile we lost Dave. This is getting tiresome, but I'm not giving up. For the time being, I'll handle Clarence as a NPC, and then probably remove him from the group. Then once we finish the LA part I'll see if someone else wants to join. That's it for now ;)

If it helps, I'm happy to run two characters (at least in the short term).

I was thinking that if this was possible/helpful then I'd make sure that characters were in separate groups (where possible) when/if the group split to hunt down clues/info.

OK, for now and until the two groups reunite, you can use Clarence in the other topic with Ian. Would that be OK?

Cearlan will step in to handle Clarence from now onwards.

As soon as you're ready, post in the IC thread and lee will go back to handling only his investigator.

By the way Overlord, I'm reading through the previous posts now but it might take 2 or 3 days to catch up - I have a lot of family and work stuff to take care of. Please let me know if you need Mungo to make a contribution before then, I don't want to keep you all hanging.

Currently Mungo is at the hotel working on decoding an encrypted notebook. Once the other characters get back to the hotel, I'll let you know ;)

I'm away on vacation, from now until the 23rd - I'm fine with Mr H running Christopher while I'm away.
