OOC

You are not alone in the war against the Mythos. The problem is, neither is the Mythos. A game heavily influenced by the X-files, investigation and conspiracies.

I usually ask this at the middle of the scenario, not a the end: are you enjoying it?

We're halfway through, Yay!
Yes, I am enjoying it.

Actually what I wanted to say, is that I usually make this question at the middle of the scenario and not at the end (like this time).
If you all agreed, we will play others delta green scenarios.

I'm enjoying the game too. It was a little confusing at first, but once we got started it flowed smoothly. I'd be interested in playing further scenarios.

Can I suggest starting a new thread for this next chapter. Mr Handy could, I believe, place the posts from when we started this conversation in it.

Do you just want a new thread, or do you want a new subforum? Anyone can create a new thread, and the Keeper can move posts into it. If you want a new subforum, then I'll need to create it.

Mr H / Kabukiman what I was suggesting was simply a new thread starting from - viewtopic.php?f=335&t=5497&start=400#p181763

Normally I'd suggest a new subforum when the story starts a new chapter, but there is only the "Wild Dog" thread in this subforum anyway.

Just a thought.

I'll wait to hear from Kabukiman to confirm that he does in fact want a subforum before I create one. If all he wants is a thread, he can already do that. If he does want a subforum, it might be better to create one for the old chapters and then keep the new one in the main forum, but I don't think that's necessary. There's no reason not to just have all of the threads in the main forum.

This is a list of stuff we would ideally have, its not all illegal, but it would be better to have it all arranged and in place before we arrive by someone local who wont necessarily attract attention from the local authorities.
  • Ideally AK-47 or G3 Assault rifles for each of us, they are popular weapons in Libya where they are apparently readily available.

Likewise an automatic pistol for each of us

    Body armour if possible

Ammunition for all of the above

    GPS gear x3

    Satellite Phone/phones

Half a dozen burner phones (disposable mobiles)

We should be able to bring decent cameras into the country as part of our tourist cover, but decent telephoto lenses are likely to draw attention (being mistaken as journalists is as bad as being mistaken as spies)

Camping and hiking kit we can/should bring as part of our tourist cover.

Decent trauma kits for all of us either off the shelf or made up.
I'll update as I think of it.

Ak-47 is easier to get by your contact

Likewise an automatic pistol for each of us
No problem.

Body armour if possible
That's more tricky

Ammunition for all of the above
Sure

GPS gear x3

Satellite Phone/phones

Half a dozen burner phones (disposable mobiles)
The contact can get them

We should be able to bring decent cameras into the country as part of our tourist cover, but decent telephoto lenses are likely to draw attention (being mistaken as journalists is as bad as being mistaken as spies)
Agreed: normal cameras will pass, true professional will be bad.

Camping and hiking kit we can/should bring as part of our tourist cover.
Yes

Decent trauma kits for all of us either off the shelf or made up.

I'm fine with an AK-47. They're as common as dirt in these parts and reliable. Can we also get night vision goggles?
