"Well, that was thoughtful of him," says Paula. "Who is Mr. Fritz?"

"Why did he leave the expedition?" asks Paula. "You'd think he'd want to be there if a great discovery is made."

"What could he possibly be busy doing that's more important or interesting than the expedition?" asks Paula.

"OK, so who is at the dig at the moment? Is everyone armed? I don't want anyone else to try and shoot me" Says Paulus with a smile trying to boy a bit more at his ease.

"Ooh, tell us about the tomb!" says Paula, filling her voice with eagerness. "Can we see it?"

"I don't know, this was supposed to be a secret, my companions won't like it"- he says hesitantly

"Please?" says Paula. "I'm sure it will be all right."

Its certainly not a secret we came out here to look because the whole town knows you are out here digging for artefacts Paulus remarks

"very well, I suppose it can be done. But please don't touch in anything- the others would be furious if you break anything".
He goes to one of the tents, grab a flashlight, and walks to one of the hills. After some time, you see what seems an entrance that goes down.
"We are It's here. Now, try to avoid doing any noise."

it's very dark and and the air is cold; the height is about 1,6 and none of you feel comfortable. There are some carvings in the walls of stone (this is not an natural cave).

"Here wait a moment, let me go get the torch from our car as well". Paulus rushes back to their car and grabs the pistol from its hiding place he then tucks it into the back of his trousers where it is covered by his shirt. He then follows the young man down into the tunnel making sure to keep close behind him, one hand resting on his shoulder as though to maintain balance. "Sorry my eyesight isn't very good in the dark. Don't let them know we're coming OK we don't want a repeat of people waving guns all over the place do we.

OOC:   Is it reasonable to say that considering our Law Enforcement backgrounds we'd all have some kind of pencil torch or mini Mag Light as part of out everyday carry?

OOC: Paulus: yes. And to Paula: yes.

Paulus follows the young man into the tunnel.

Paula also follows, using her cell phone's light to guide her and look around.

OOC,Can [b]Paulus[/b] also have retrieved my pistol? I do have the guard's gun, but I'm not sure what kind it is. I only put points into Pistol and Rifle. If it's an SMG, I'm unskilled in that, though I could probably fire single shots using Pistol skill.

OOC: Yes, Paulus can bring your gun too.

You start the descent. You can still feel the faint light of the sun behind you; with your phones and flash, you can see some meters ahead; the only sound is the one of your feets in the stone. After a while, the corridor divides itself to the right and left. Your guide takes the right and says:
"The left one takes to a great chamber that is full of debris, we didn't have time to explore it well".
His voice is normal, but from some freak effect, the echo transforms his voice like if it was an hiss menacing. He mumbles: "I really hate this place!". Again the same effect. You can see he is getting nervous.

Paulus isn't afraid of the dark, he's spent to many nights crouched outside an unsuspecting target's home to worry about it, but there is something about the tunnel's acoustics he finds unsettling.
