The city of Seth

You are not alone in the war against the Mythos. The problem is, neither is the Mythos. A game heavily influenced by the X-files, investigation and conspiracies.

You all continue to the long corridor. Suddenly the corridor gets much taller, even Paula can passes without problems: and the stonemason is different from the previous, with carvings of strange beasts.
"Luis got very nervous when we discovered this passage"
There are several passages going in other directions, but he doesn't hesitate. After a while, you all see a room and he says: "It's there, I'm going first to avoid any problems."

Paulus keeps as close as possible to the young man as he goes through.

OOC:   I'm not sure if you mean the man wants to simply be in front of us or whether he wants to be alone, either way, Paulus is following the man in close behind him.

OOC: It means he will enter first: if they see strangers first, they may not react well.

You don't hear anything. And in a excavation with several people, there should be some noise (even if the people is silent).
But there is a faint light.

Paulus grabs the young man by his belt and pulls him backwards away from the entrance. He then holds his finger to his lips, showing the man he must be quiet. He then takes a couple of steps back away from the entrance if necessary dragging the young man back with him.

When he's a short distance from the cavern entrance So is anybody else spooked by the absolute silence coming from the from an active excavation site?

There isn't much light in it; there are 3 lanterns in the floor, about 4 meter after the door. You can still see that's a very large room; you cannot see the end of it, or the ceiling (but maybe it's the lack of light?). Near the lamps, you see several persons who are motionless, like if they were looking at something.

OOC:
I'm hoping that my succesful sneak roll is still in affect since I want to go up to one of these motionless people and touch them, just a light tap on the arm to see if they are stunned or turned to stone. I don't see much harm in doing that

Agent Parker moves slowly through the entranceway towards the frozen individuals to get a closer look.

OOC:   I'm not going to talk to them since that would make noise, just a tap on the shoulder
