IC-Ep 4-The Fugitive(Salem Shields only)

Salem leaps into the shrubbery, catches his breath and scanning the area in disorientation.

Salem ran into the woods, trying to put the trees between him and the men that were pursuing him. He hadn't gotten far into the cover of the woods when the two constables and Horsham emerged from the back door of the museum. "There he is!" shouted the lead constable, pointing directly at Salem.

To the left, which was eastward, a northwest-southeast road was visible in the near distance. Salem could not be sure what lay ahead or to the right, as the forest obscured his vision, though if he went far enough ahead he would be sure to reach that same road eventually.

"Well, this is quite the wild goose chase," Salem remarks exhaustingly, as he heads eastward towards the road that was visible.

[Mr. Handy]

Salem ran along behind the row of buildings to the north, the cops and Horsham in hot pursuit, whistles blowing and clubs waving. Soon he could see the Ship Inn from behind. It had a rear entrance, and there was also the car park where the Model T Ford was parked. The road was directly ahead; to the northeast he could see the intersection, and the road stretched away into the distance to the southwest.

Salem noticed a very odd sight. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen, young and with Asian features, was running from the beach towards the car park behind the Ship Inn - and she was topless! She seemed to see him too. She held an object in her hand, but he couldn't quite make out the details.

"Ummmmm..." Salem stopped his ground in dumbfounded disbelief, blinking uncontrollably. Trying to keep his eyes away from her admirable features, Salem tries to look at what the beautiful woman is holding.

Salem waving at the mysterious woman to follow, "Over this way!" Even though Salem wasn't in any position to provide assistance, both of them were in pretty bad condition to help themselves. Salem makes his way to the back of the Ship Inn, trying his best to break sight with his pursuers.
