@Quatermass, it's good fun, isn't it?

@DSIGFUSS, Phyllis Ashcroft, P.A., but who's Ollie Spratt? Edit: I just realised that Charlie also gained Research Student, any takers?

Police Assistance added to Reserve.

Tomorrow, Marie will have her Expedition Encounter. How about Tony and Norman, Arkham or City Encounter?

Norman will take a American Encounter please.

As for not moving to London this turn. I would rather get a Focus first and move next turn. Just in case. ;)

Thanks for the Specialized Training! I'll use it next turn.

I'd like an Arkham Encounter, please.

Charlie got a second Influence success from the reroll, so he can gain a second Asset. If Specialized Training is replaced by Police Assistance before you take your second Asset, you could choose that, but I'm not sure what the rules say. Otherwise, the only Asset that does any good (other than the Urban Guide, which costs too much) is the Research Student. I don't need it, as I can just make Clues at will (if I spend the Actions to do so).

Re. 2nd Asset, Research Student, Charlie can buy Assets from the Reserve equal to or less than his successes (2), so Secialized Training and Research Student. Then you refill the Reserve, so Police Assistance is not available to buy in Turn 1.

Having a Focus can be so useful, lots of encounters require them now. I'll post your Spell and Mr. Handy's (hopefully), as well as DSIGFUSS's encounter later, probably tomorrow.

@Mr. Handy, very cool. I'll show Tony's Twilight Lodge encounter to my teenage son, he (and me) love The Hobbit.

Thanks! Conjuration could be useful to me later, but right now there's nothing in the Reserve I could use it to acquire. Even so, it'll only be useful when I'm not in a City, as otherwise it's better for me to Acquire Assets. Clairvoyance is a nice one for Norman. He could use that to Encounter the Clue in Space 4. I think he could even do that right now, as it's still the Encounter phase when he gains the Spell.

No, I don't think so, 'cos Norman would then have had 2 encounters . . . I'll see what I can find out on BGG.

Yes, you're probably right. In that case, he could still do it next turn.

Conjuration would actually be much more useful for Norman than for me, as he only has 1 Influence and can't really buy stuff normally unless he takes on Debt. Of course, trading with him would consume one of our Actions, which may be too high a price to pay right now, especially since there's nothing to conjure from the Reserve at the moment.

@Mr. Handy, I agree. Also Charlie can dish out the goodies from the Reserve.

Norman awoke in the ally. His books strewn about him.

Clairvoyance works during the Encounter phase and allows me to encounter a clue anywhere on the board. So that would be my encounter. I would not get two.

Cessabit mare . Comprimi aqua . Festinate et ascendite ad ventos . Cave cancri .
@DSIGFUSS, what does it all mean? Something sea. Something water. . . .

Charlie's Health is poor, must be because of the cigars, whisky and loose women.

Edit: Re. Turn 1, Mythos Phase, Charlie must roll 1d6 because of his Agreement Condition and he may flip Righteous Condition.
