Let's place the Omen on the red sun. Next time the Omen advances it'll be blue, then green, then blue, and then red--Eldritch token placed on AO card (2nd).

If you already have a Dark Pact, I'd think that taking another one is not an option, as the rules prohibit it. In that case, you just do what it says if you don't take the Dark Pact. It's too bad. Returning to Arkham would have been perfect. Maybe the new Gate will open there.

I don't understand how you can get two Relic Unique Assets from one Research Encounter. The Mystery says you can discard one Clue you gained from the Research Encounter to gain one Relic Unique Asset.

Spending the Focus for a reroll fixes the mess, as the third die you rolled was a success.

I gained a clue and a Relic from the encounter then spent the clue to get the second Relic.

Oh, now I see. Antarctica is a Sea space. I was thinking it was Wilderness! Awesome! 8-) Now we just need one more Relic.

Yes, I'm sure you're right, to gain a Dark Pact is not an option because Marie already has one.

OK so turn 9.

Anyone want to give a quick summary on how we're doing? lol And what we need to be focusing on?

For Diana's turn 9 should she be trying to get closer to the Arkham gate or just going back for the Clue in the Amazon?

They were both played by Harrison Ford, so it's easy to mix up the two. I hadn't even consciously remembered that he had said it, and I still don't remember the context.

@DSIGFUSS, @Everyone, quick summary: we're doing well! The AO, Syzygy, requires 2 Mystery cards solved before we flip the AO sheet and do something--I don't know yet--to win. We've solved 1 Mystery and Norman, single handed, is solving the 2nd (4 Relics need be flipped, 1 flipped and Norman possesses 2 more). What we need do is to encounter Clues, so Diana should Travel back to The Amazon.

Do we need care about the spawn effect? I reckon we're better saving Clues for rerolls. . . .

@Quatermass, Norman is Lead Investigator, what do you think? In Turn 9 Norman needs to Rest (examine Lost Treasure), Diana and Tony to Travel, which leaves Marie? Now, she was going to Travel back to Arkham in order to continue her fight with Spinner of Webs, but it can wait, can't it?

Damn! Rough Mythos Phase.

Ok, Norman is the only one in a city.
Norman encounters the Hunting Horror!!

I think Marie really needs to start hitting the Spinner, so I don't think she should be delayed. I think we should allow the second Eldritch token off the Web Between Worlds. Norman can be delayed I think. Heck he might be delayed anyway because he is in a city. He is flipping the Stone Calander anyway this Mythos phase and he can rest to try and flip the other one next phase. We cannot get all the stuff to solve the Mystery this turn anyway. It can wait a turn I think.Edit!

Ok no Reckoning effect this mythos phase!

Not yet! No Reckoning effect this Mythos Phase, just a Reckoning symbol on the Mythos card. :)

We need the Spinner dead so Norman will be delayed other wise it is just sucking our resources. I just need Diana to banish that Hunting Horror before it jumps on me.

Sure thing. I'll head back to the Amazon and cast banishment. Where is it though? I can only banish monsters on gates.

It just spawned at the Tunguska gate. See Mythos Phase Turn 8. With a Reckoning it will move and attack the nearest character which is Norman.

My cards are downstairs, but re. Banishment Spell, it banishes a monster on the Gate nearest to you, which for Diana is Buenos Aires. The Mi-go is worth fighting rather than banishing because when defeated it drops an Artifact.
